Chris Bosh will get a maximum offer from the Raptors, according to ESPN's Ric Bucher.
Bosh could possibly end up staying with the Raptors, but it probably all depends on where LeBron James and Dwyane Wade end up. And if Bosh thinks he can find a deal that will give him a better shot at winning a ring than he'll have in Toronto. He also met with the Rockets just after midnight, and Houston and Dallas have to be considered possibilities for his services next season, likely via sign-and-trade deals.

The offer is officially made but this isn't news. BC said he was going to offer the max in his end of season press conference.

of course they would make an offer but the question will be if he accepts it which he probablly wont

Hmm, I'm guessing Miami. Bulls wouldn't make sense unless they got Gibson and Noah.

Houston is the dark horse here... hmm maybe LA but I doubt it. He ain't worth the Max IMO.

Hopefully to go somewhere else, and that's coming from a Raps fan.

Yeah this isn't news, no surprise they offer their star player a max contract.

Technically he has to make the offer so other things can be set in motion. I'm hoping Bosh just agrees to a S&T. Thank you for 7 good years. Now it's time to rebuild like the Raptors should have done 3-4 years ago.

He can't do anything until at least the 8th.

huh?....If it comes down to a S&T, he won't be in Toronto.

The Raptors should push him towards Houston. Would be the best move for both parties involved.

if he signs with the raptors they then cannot trade him i believe for a year..

just read this on real gm

The Raptors are uninterested in receiving Michael Beasley, Mario Chalmers and Joel Anthony in a sign-and-trade for Chris Bosh, according to multiple sources.

But Toronto would consider a $16 million trade exemption and the return of its first-round pick from Miami in the 2009 Jermaine O'Neal trade for a potential Bosh move.

Bosh would receive an extra $30M in guaranteed money if he signed a deal with the Raptors

He'll only accept it if a sign and trade is on the other side.

it's gonna be a sign and trade wherever he ends up IMO, he will get one extra year on the deal and the raps WILL get something in return for him

He'll only accept it if a sign and trade is on the other side. Yeah, I think most people know he is out of Toronto and that is the only way he will accept this deal.

Well obviously as it means the Raptors can get more players in return.

You won't sign and trade him. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he accepts this and returns to Toronto. Wade and Amare are going to Miami. James is going to Cleveland. Boozer to either Chicago or Orlando. If Joe Johnson goes back to Atlanta, the only choice Bosh has is to go to the Knicks by himself and fail, or return to Toronto on a max deal and hope they can build a winning team. Watch him return.
