what are the best and worst case scenarios for your team heading into free agency and this offseason?

Best case scenario would be the Celtics used their cap space to get a max free agent to pair with Rondo and Garnett.

The worst case, I think, would be re-signing Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. They're both up there in age and there's nothing positive in signing them to 4 year deals.

best case scenario IMO for the lakers would be to sign a point guard who can shoot the 3 to come off the bench or maybe even start. get a decent backup C (JO, Shaq etc). and pick up a solid bench player (TMAC, raja bell etc)

worst case- we trade bynum in a S&T for bosh. we dont get someone who can shoot the 3 and our bench stays the same with us resigning brown n farmar. =/

Best Case Scenario = Getting Lebron James (what else is better than this?)

Worst Case Scenario = Resigning Pierce, Allen for 4 years. Doc and Danny leaving. McHale takes over as GM.

Best Case for the bulls

Signing Lebron james and Chris bosh ( best player and a big that compliments him ) Plus trading Luol Deng for cap room or a shooter

idealy

Rose
3pt shooter
James
Bosh
Noah

Worst case, bulls dont get Lebron, Bosh, Wade, JJ, or Amare. IMO, because of this situation

Lebron STays
Bosh Miami with Wade
JJ and Amare NY

WE would be stuck with signing Carlos Boozer ( not bad consilation prize ) and we would sign a SG like JJ redick, anthony morrow, Korver ect. with the extra cap room

linup

Rose
3pt specialist
Deng
Boozer
Noah

Fact is, either way, the bulls will be better then they where last year. with Lebron or Boozer+3pt shooting

Worst case scenario we miss out on Boozer as well. Nets have shown interest in him along with Miami.

Best case scenario for my Cavs: LeBron stays and convinces Bosh or STAT to come in a S&T.

Worst case scenario: LeBron leaves

I understand if Doc retired. Why would Danny leave?

wasn't there a rumor going around that if Doc were to retire, McHale would be an option to replace him as the coach?

Best Case Scenario: Bosh stay's and Bryan C. completely revamps the Raptors
(he did it last year, why not try one last time!)

Worst Case Scenario: Bosh leaves and doesn't do a sign & trade.

If the reports/rumors that Bosh said he wants to be the guy that a team's built around, then he should make his own Legacy as a Raptor and not follow in Carter, McGrady and other former Raptor players.

BOS:

Best- Sign Wade, Stoudemire, have some team like ORL trade us KG for VC, swap VC to PHO for J-Rich (which would sway Amare to come)

Rondo-Wade-Richardson-Stoudemire-Perkins

EDIT: Sorry, J-Rich would be off the bench as a 6th man, to the best in the NBA. LeBron? Kobe?SCAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst: Doc Leaves, Pierce retires, allen re-signs, BOS signs nobody to play SF, leaving Avery Bradley, who i hate

Best case scenario....... Sign Dirk to go along with his best friend Steve Nash. Let the sands of time let Grant Hill be healthy....Trade Barbosa, free up his salary, and sign another power forward to eat up the rebounds Amare did not get. Lopez will be better this year, and can play along side Dirk very well. J-Rich has a 14.4 mil salary...rid that as well.....Let Amare sign elsewhere...so his 17.6 mil....J-rich's 14.4 Barbosa 7.1....that is plenty of salary to sign Dirk, and another player to ride along Nash... Amare is a very good player, but he should but up monster rebound numbers nightly..not ever now and than.

Worst case scenario...... leave the team as it is, and end up coming up short again... Sign T-mac to go along with Hill...see if the miracle Suns staff can save him another year or 2 as well.

How about Danny Ainge leaving and Kevin Pritchard taking his place. That works for me
