Assuming all Free Agents stay with there current teams.

Boston I think is to old to win the east again but I can understand why some would disagree. So who do you think wins the East

Orlando. Seems like the threads are getting really lame though

This thread is pretty stupid. If all free agents stays wif their current team, it would be almost the same roster like last year plus a few draft pick. It would be close to the same result as this year.

Yeah, it seems like it would make a lot more sense to just wait for free agency to end before threads like this, or at least the major free agents (James, Wade, Bosh, Johnson, etc).

Same as last year? The Magic.

If 2 top FA don't join forces? The Magic.

No, I mean the Magic.

He asked if the same rosters were in tact for next season who would be the favorites in the East and in my opinion it would be the Magic.

Cleveland when Lebron James resigns after he leaves 3 teams in dire straits. Lebron is the second coming of the basketball anti christ. 1st being when David Stern became commish

Whoever voted for New Jersey has a 0% chance of being right. The OP blatantly stated "Assuming all Free Agents stay with there current teams", and two people thought it would be a good idea to vote for their favorite team who was historically bad last year to win the East.

This is why I think certain people should be tested to vote. In example, people thought Barack Obama was new and cool, probably half of the people that voted for him knew nothing about his politics, and now look what he's done. On the brink of ruining this country.

Anyway... Back to topic, the only ones that anyone should be choosing are the C's, Magic, Cleveland, or a longshot, Miluakee. Miluakee did lose Bogut for the playoffs, who knows, Realistically it should be between the three big teams. Fans should quit voting for their teams or players as it really ruins the polls some times.

Boston has one more year left, but they wont get the #1 in the east. they will have to conserve their old legs.

Same rosters as last year? The Nets should have a shot, assuming everyone is healthy.

My fault. I thought you meant the same team who won it last season, which would be Cleveland. :p My mistake.

With the addition of LeBron and hopefully another FA, Chicago will instantly become a favorite.

If the free agents fall in Chicago, particularly Bosh and LBJ, they'll be the favorites. But I still think Orlando, maybe Boston, any maybe Miami depending on who they get can compete with them in the playoffs. I think they'll be dominant in the regular season, but come playoff time we still don't know how Bosh is in the postseason, well deep in the postseason anyways.
