View Full Version : Favors/Cousins/Monroe to Thunder?

I am not sure how many people have thought about a scenario like this, but I honestly believe this is possible...

The T-Wolves have been willing to trade their #4 pick (assuming the nets take Wes Johnson)

And the Thunder now have picks 18, 21, and 26.

IMO, this is a deep draft and it would be smart for some teams with many needs (Like the T-Wolves) to trade down...

I could see a trade going down causing the Thunder to move way up in the draft. (Even though personally I hope the Thunder draft Larry Sanders) They could end up drafting someone like Favors or Cousins or Monroe....

Giving the Thunder even more young talent:

Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Green, Ibaka, Maynor, AND Cousins/Favors/Monroe....

If that happens. I dont know what I might do.

Cousins is the perfect fit for OKC as a low post option. They have a great young chemistry and he'd fit in well with those guys.

Favors doesn't exactly fit because hes basically an American Serge Ibaka. High upside but not quite ready, and not strong enough yet to bang at the 5.

Monroe is a good fit for any team. But I dont think hes strong enough to bang at the 5, and OKC already has a solid PF in Jeff Green.
