GM Mike Rizzo said there is still interest in signing Adam Dunn to an extension. The team is happy with Dunn's offense/defense.https://twitter.com/washingnats

I wish he would go to the AL already and become a DH.

He probably enjoys the strategy used in the NL.

I think they really need to keep him. Nats are going to get better every year. Having him in the lineup is a huge factor.

His production would be crazy in a more hitter friendly park, but I can see why he might want to stay. I can see good things in the future for Washington baseball.

If they fall off the map in the next month they'll have to listen to any interested trade parties.

:eyebrow: He repeatedly hit 40 homeruns in Great American Small Park, how much "CRAZIER" do you expect his stats to get???

As well they should This team has a bright future ahead of them, and keeping Zimmerman and Dunn as that 3/4 in the lineup and building around it is very important. Willingham has been very solid this year, even extending him and keeping that core as your 3/4/5 would be smart.

Keep that 3/4/5. Have Ian Dezmond at SS leading off, and build around that lineup. Build around Strasburg in the rotation.

True. I would stay in the NL for that reason as well.
