This past season, the Raptors were one of the league's most potent offensive teams. They just couldn't get things going on the defensive end more often than not and that cost them a spot in the playoffs. Even despite having solid role players such as Amir Johnson, Jarrett Jack, Antoine Wright and Sonny Weems, the Raptors had issues stopping their opponents. Whether Chris Bosh stays or not, this team needs to add a post presence to help them defend the post better.

I went with Whiteside since he brings post defense that they don't have right now and will have even less of if Bosh leaves. I like what he brings compared to the other guys remaining so it's not just BPA. I think it would be a good fit.
