LeBron was the best in the season, Rondo was the best in the playoffs, but Kobe + Gasol got it done when it counted.

Regular Season:
1) LeBron (easily, anyone else at 1 is unacceptable)
2) Durant (breakout scoring year)
3) Kobe (only this "low" because of injuries and saved it for when it counted)
4) Howard (with any offensive game at all he could have been higher this year)
5) Wade (really needs help)

Playoffs:
1) Kobe (when it counts, is there anyone better in crunch time?)
2) Rondo (did a little bit of everything for the C's)
3) Gasol (best 2nd option in basketball)
4) LeBron (stifled by the Celtics defense, but was the only consistently reliable option for the Cavs)
5) Wade (had absolutely no help at all)

Rondo had a good playoff run, but he wasn't even the best PG in the playoffs.

The numbers back it and I enjoyed watching him play.

What numbers. The part where Kobe had a PER of 24.7 to Richardsons PER of 22.3?

Hater much? Kobe was playing BETTER than LeBron before injuries started taking a toll on him.

Hater much? Kobe was playing BETTER than LeBron before injuries started taking a toll on him.

He was not talking about Kobe's injury. He was referring to the WHOLE season.

Kobe. Why does this debate still dominate this forum? Even LeBron and other superstars say that Kobe is the best in the league. I think they know a lot more than any of us do. Not to mention GM's and coaches think the same.

Regular Season

LeBron
Durant
Kobe
Wade
Nash (an MVP-like season)

Playoffs

Kobe (Brought the title to LA once again)
Rondo (Numbers)
Gasol (Before the finals, only one except Kobe who did something for the Lakers)
Nash (Led Suns to WCF)
Wade (Only 5 games but in those 5, he played basically alone)
