Obviously Kobe Bryant still has several years to polish up his career achievements and accomplishments. Perhaps there will be some more championships, maybe an MVP or two, and maybe another Olympic medal. Let's go forward with the general assumption that he has a few outstanding years left... Take into consideration his post season achievements as well, which are argued to be even more impressive than his achievements during the regular season.

ESPN has created this page where you rank the all time greatest players, and currently Kobe is ranked THIRD all time according to sports nation. I think that's definitely too high as of now, but it's definitely worth discussing where he will rank amongst the best players of all time when it's all said and done. Top 3? Top 5? Top 10? Or out of the top 10?

Here is the ESPN link so you can rank him up against other greats such as Jordan, Dr. J, Wilt, Russell, Oscar, Hakeem, Shaq, etc.

I voted top 10 - He will be viewed as an all time great with more championships than most. And the longevity of his dominance and being the best after Jordan is impressive as well. However, in the top 5 I view it as players who have "changed the game." I don't know if it as sure a thing that he has done this and made the game evolve in the way Jordan and Wilt did.
