Did his injury just change the entire series? Discuss

Yes. His height causes problems for the C's and him going down allowed the C's to get more Offensive rebounds.

he injury plus nate robinson and glen davis playing outstanding changed the series, bynum out means davis will put up big points

no, the lakers letting a bum like big baby davis score more than 2 points cost them

Yes, If he is missing more time after tonight the celtics can breath a little easier.

If he's out for an extended period of time then LA's in trouble. Jackson was smart to take him out when he did. They got home court back no matter what, so it's important to rest him and maybe give him a better shot to play well in game 6.
If LA steals that, then they can afford Bynum to play small minutes in 6 and go for broke in game 7.

Without Bynum Rondo and Big Baby will become alot more effective

Well he doesn't need to score, just needs a big body out there.

We are a much tougher team with Drew in there. If he can't go, we are losing this series especially with the way Odom is playing. I'm very worried.

Lakers cannot beat the Celts without Bynum... Odom cost them the game when he was in.

Odom is soft. Period. If he has to start, I think LA is screwed.

Agreed, he should never get owned by Big Baby. Odom played lazy tonight. Or actually in every game of this series.

Phil made a good move by taking him out when he did for sure. If he isn't able to go Odom is gonna have to step up big time.

The Lakers can't win this series without Bynum. Gasol and Odom will get dominated in the paint.

if lakers get trade bynum for bosh, they will get penetrated even more. They need a true center that can stay healthy

Well.. without his presence, obviously Lakers would have a slight disadvantage on the glass.

YES.. There is no question about it.

All Boston has to do is pull Gasol Away from the bucket with Baby or Garnett and the Basket is open for business.

Then why do you think an undersized PF had a field day tonite? You think Odom can handle Baby underneath? Please bro.... Bynum's absence in 08 is the reason the Lakers got stomped.

+1. Gasol isn't looking much better either. I think Gasol has toughened up since 08 but I think he's still more soft than tough.

odom can't, Pau has done a good job on defense imo.

I don't think odom is "soft" but not a very good post defender. As a help defender he's one of the better players.

if bynum's injury is serious enough so that he can only play 10-12 minutes a night, the whole dynamic of this series would change. would make driving to the hoop much easier for boston. if bynum's not healthy, this series will go to 7 games.
