are we talking career, skill now, who will effect the outcome most?

Career you have Kobe, Allen & Garnett
who determines the victor Rondo, Kobe, Pierce, Gasol, Allen
Skill Now Kobe, Rondo, Pierce, Gasol, Allen, Odom, Garnett, Artest

so alot of differnt ways you copuld go

I've said this from the beginning, but if the Lakers win the title I promised to shut up about it. We'll see how it plays out.

He stalls, while passing or shooting. When he does that (seemingly every-time he touches the ball) the defense resets...but the shot clock doesn't. Right now I'd also make an argument, becaues of our match-up with Boston and the way Bynum is playing that I'd rather have Ariza over LO. Ariza-Rondo, Kobe-Allen, Artest-Pierce. I'd take that all day.

But we needed that Bynum insurance....

its sooooo ugly watching him play basketball. absolutely no handle on the ball, absolutely zero basketball IQ. whenever he touches the ball its like they gave it to some random fan in the stands that won a contest to play a possesion in the nba. whenever he touches the ball he looks so lost and has no idea wat to do.

seriously, after that **** he pulled in game 2 where the lakers needed a quick bucket and he dribbled around for an eternity and then shot an off balance, one footed, ballarina shot, i officially came to the conclusion that he sucks. i dont care if he comes back tonight and makes a few wide open shots and has an ok game. ron artest SUCKS

I'd love to watch him on the defensive end and say to myself, "damn, thats ugly". I want him to ugly it up on that end. He doesn't have to score more points that Pierce either, he just needs to shoot above 30% from 3, and to swing the ball quickly when it needs swinging.

His FG% is pretty brilliant. But I don't want all of his shot attempts (or Bynums shot attempts) to be results of just chucking the ball into the paint, and hoping they score. I want to get Pau involved in a lot of pick and rolls, where he can take it to the bucket with momentum, before the double team can be effective. If we can run an effective two man pick and roll, and Artest hits at least 30% of his threes I don't see how they lose. If the Lakers score over 100 they win.

Poor shooting night, but still had a big impact on the game.

Fisher has to be up their before Sheed, Perk, and Bynum. You can make the case for even higher than Baby.

After tonight, I don't know how you can put Gasoft over Garnett. I don't even know how you can even argue that after the onslaught tonight.
