Do us all a favor and please die, otherwise you should go back to the second grade and improve you're grammar. English is my third language and I still speak it better then you? Forget the NBA, THIS is where Amazing happens.

I would guess the ratings this year will not be as good as in 2008. Kobe's first chance at getting a ring without Shaq, the big three's first chance, etc. Old news to the mainstream fan at this point. Diehard basketball fans such as myself will tune in, but basic sports fans, eh, they saw this two years ago

I doubt it. With the internet, TiVo, and phone capabilities, I doubt it reaches the popularity on TV again.

Regardless, these playoffs just seem to drag on FOREVER. I know my attention span can't handle 2 month long playoffs.

Thats the way I see it, 2008 was the resparking of the rivalry. Now it is old news.

I'd say no only because there are more ways to watch it now. It may be on but there are tons of fans that will end up streaming it. I know I will be watching

wow, the cavs and spurs ratings were horrible.

This year should be better, wouldn't be surprised if it goes back to the double digits.

jackdawson

Simply put: NO

They met in finals in 2008 for the first time in almost 20 years. The expectations/attentions were much significant in 2008. For that matter, I am an example for myself.

i dont think this series ratings will exceed 08. there are so many different ways to watch an nba game now. many people wont watch with their tvs, so i dont expect the ratings to reach the levels seen in the late 90's for a long time.

Game 1 on Thursday night earned an 8.7, and Game 2 on Sunday night had an 8.5.

The Lakers' 87-81 win Tuesday night earned a 9.2 rating on ABC, the network said Wednesday. That's up 44 percent from the 6.4 last year for Spurs-Cavaliers.
