Which game is Easier to win on the Road?

Game 5 on the road when the series is tied 2-2 ?

Game 7 when series is tied 3-3?

Chose Game 7. It's usually always the toughest game. Well, actually, thinking back on it, Atlanta gave Milwaukee a whooping in Game 7..I don't know, I just think there's a lot less pressure. The opposite side to that though, is that you have more momentum.

Game 7 for sure. HCA doesn't seem to be a factor as much in these games, and the players know that they have one last chance to get it done.

I voted for game 7 but then i thought about it and actually think game 5 is the hardest. This year and in recent memory, it seems teams with HCA is almost a sure thing to win game 7. Hawks just this year, lakers last year against the rockets, celtics 2 years ago against the cavs, etc. I think the only time game 7 becomes a non-factor for HCA is the finals. Because that's basically for both teams, you win you are the champs, you lose you go home without a title. And i think both teams are equally pressured by this, and that's when HCA becomes a non-factor at that point.

Game 5 is easier. Its not a Win or Go Fishing situation. You obviously give up a lot of momentum to the other team, if you lose game 5 but game 7 is it. There may not be a tomorrow and thinking about the possibility of being eliminated that night is a lot of pressure.

Looks like the LA vs Phoenix series we may be able to see both of these.

I would say game 7. The fans know thats it they will be rocking and your players will build off that. If you can beat that on the road your a very good team

Phoenix had there chance yesterday, let's see if both series go 7 in order to decide this further.

How about Game 6 on the road, in Boston, after being down 3-0?

05-28-2010, 01:12 PM
Game 5 would be easier because there isn't the elimination feeling that there would be in the Game 7.

No tangible difference.
option #3

Losing a game 5 is not the end of the world for a 2-2 visiting team. Losing a game 7 is. Everything is magnified that much more when you know that the following day you'll either be on your way to sublime greatness, or at home reintegrating yourself back into your ordinary, mundane existence (status quo).

Didn't happen. Wish it did though, wanted to see 2 game 7's in the Conference Finals.

I said "Game 6" and that happened, but it's too bad no Magic player decided to lace em up besides Dwight.

Game 7 is easier.
Nothing more to worry about. If you have a hot hand, you win.
