I can't predict who will win this game pregame. But I usually only need 1 quarter to pick a winner. I'm on at about 83.5% after predicting post first quarter. I do wish the Magic fans good luck. The interaction between Boston and Orlando fans during these playoffs has been really cool.

Magic win Game 3, Boston wins 4, Magic win back in Orlando in the 5th game, and Celtics close it out Game 6

Its tough to pick Orlando, they get beat at home and now their going up to Boston. I think their gonna give a good fight in this series though so I'll take the Magic today as well.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!

Players should have beards its been so long!!!!!

I picked Boston. But make no mistake Orlando is coming in here to win. I dont expect them to come in flat or defeated like some analysts have said. They put it to us on our home floor in the regular season. BUT that was thn. Were a changed team now and up 2-0. Game time cant come quick enough.

This is gunna be a good one

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/The-top-10-players-of-the-2010-NBA-playoffs?urn=nba,242918

Best of 2010 Playoffs:

1. Pau Gasol(notes)
It might surprise some to note that I don't consider Kobe Bryant(notes) to even be the best Laker on his own team so far this postseason, but all-around production matters, and in spite of Kobe Bryant's brilliant scoring exploits, Pau Gasol's in-his-prime versatility vaults him to the top of this list.
Fifty-eight percent shooting, over 21 points per game, 12 rebounds a contest, 3.6 assists, two blocks a game, and just 2.2 turnovers per night. On top of that, Gasol's continually improving defense has been a huge asset to a Laker attack that looks primed to repeat.

2. Rajon Rondo(notes)
Rondo earns extra points for his defensive dominance, he's allowed some big quarters against Mo Williams(notes) and Jameer Nelson(notes), but by and large he's been a pest. Shutting his man down, always looking for a passing lane to mess with.
Eighteen points and six rebounds per game for Rajon, who has tossed around 10.6 assists in what are mainly slow-down contests, with fewer possessions to work with. Fifty percent shooting and two steals per contest for the Celtics lead guard, who has outright dominated on both ends at times.

3. Kobe Bryant
After a slow (for him) start, Kobe has come on like Kobe over the last couple of weeks, seeing his seven-game streak of 30-point contests end with only a 13-assist night (what a slacker) in Game 2 against the Suns.

Been saying/agree with that article.

I'm tempted to pick Orlando, but I think Boston goes up 3-0. Their swagger is through the roof.

The first quarter will tell all, in my opinion. If the Magic come out looking flat and demoralized, I think they're toast, and when I mean toast, I mean they'll lose by a pretty large margin.

I've wondered why we don't put MP in for Barnes, to guard Pierce. Or even right now, I wouldn't mind us playing Jameer-Barnes-Pietrus-Gortat-Dwight. At least that way, we look em' down on all cylinders besides Rondo, and we won't be missing Vince right now, especially when he hasn't done anything.

Rashard doesn't create his own shots very often, he depends on the open looks. With Boston single teaming Dwight (which rarely happens), and them having such good perimeter D, it renders him useless. I agree though, he's a ghost out there.

That's exactly what's happening. You don't destroy the first two teams you play in the playoffs and then just choke. Boston has a lot to do with the way Orlando is playing. It's all match ups. I said it before the series started. Rondo vs. Nelson was a match up that heavily favored Boston. Ray Allen vs. Vince Carter favors Boston. Paul Pierce vs. Matt Barnes heavily favors Boston. KG vs. Rashard Lewis heavily favors Boston. Even though Dwight Howard vs. Perkins favors Orlando it's not by much because Perkins has always caused Howard problems because of his low post defense.

Definitely, but at this point I think they're better off just not pretending that he's good offensively and instead treat him like Dikembe Mutombo. Let him win the rebounding battle for you, let him erase the mistakes of perimeter defenders, but understand that anything he gives you offensively is a bonus and they shouldn't act like he'll suddenly become an offensive star (so keep on lifting the weights, it will help him as a post defender).

That means they should play Gortat more, since he could probably create more offense than Lewis (or even play Lewis at SF since, like I said, Howard erases mistakes), and you always need enough on your roster (in future years) to have two playmakers on the court at all times (like they did with Turkoglu and Nelson last year).

If they just stop pretending Howard is a good offensive player then he won't need to be.

You should be happy. You finally get a crack at this Boston team you lost to. This time, you still might not be fortunate enough to beat em' though.

Well I'd like to see Boston in the finals but again I wish they could get there without winning. Maybe you guys can pull a Cartman and hide your team in a bomb shelter until the series is called over.

Dwight Howard has to start playing like a superstar or this series is over. Really disappointed in his play so far.

Or at least we need to stop pretending like he is Shaq offensively. The continual forcing the ball to him is killing us. We aren't playing Magic basketball when we do that.

Game still not over yet but this team looks a lot different than the team in the regular season that blew leads. The difference is the hustle.

Not making any excuses, but does anyone agree with me that it might be better if Dwight slowed down on the weights? His upper-body is massive enough. I know eventually, it alters your shooting-touch, and if he's constantly lifting weights, he'll never get a feel for the ball.

Its not that. Howard has poor footwork (he has quick feet, but he's got terrible steps on his post moves) and probably doesn't use his wrist and fingers well. Its not that he's getting too strong or anything, its all in his mechanics. Thing is, some people just don't have the natural ability to develop good mechanics (look at Alex Smith for the 49ers for the perfect example).

Until he is able to figure this out himself, he'll continue being a one-dimensional offensive player.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope LA rips Boston.

This... Only 100% polar opposite.

It's over. 3-0, there is no way we are coming back. Until Dwight can hit FTs and have a steady offensive move, we aren't gonna win when it matters most

I hope so too. Like I tell my fellow Laker fans we can't talk until we redeem ourselves from that sad 08 display.

What's up with this Magic team  Very disappointed.

The Celtics' defense happened. They did it to Miami and Cleveland this year, and the Lakers in 2008. Nothing really that shocking when you think about it.

I love how the Celtics team is comprised. No one player is really better than the next guy and when they win, one guy doesn't get most of the credit.

Rondo is quickly becoming my 3rd favorite player

With one caveat - being their best player, Rajon Rondo. But I do agree that they are incredibly well balanced.

Actually, Superman, I have to disagree with you. If Boston beats us, they deserve to win. I wanted us to win, but that won't happen. I want whoever beat us, to win it all, even though I hate the Boston fan's egos.
