will he resign with the cavs? will he sign with his 6th new team? will he return to one of his old teams or will he retire? that is the question.

for me the landing spot for him is LA or Orlando. i think he wants to play with a contander plus he wants to get out cold and play in a warmer place just like Orlando and LA and what way to end a career too if he resigned one of his 1st 2 Teams in his career. so LA or Orlando makes sense for him

let the shaquille o'neal FA Speculation Begin!

He'll sign with the Pebble Beach Golf Club.

Top 5 center to ever live, but he's done. Hopefully he hangs 'em up.

I really dont see many offenses where he can fit in anymore. He is just too slow and his FG % on his little hook shot is not very good.

Maybe on the Spurs as a mid level guy... Come in and back up Duncan? At least that is more of half court set team.

look his starting days are over hes going to be a bench player of a contander

If his locker room presence is problematic as been mentioned in past threads, then I can't see him really going anywhere.

Maybe a team looking to get a few fans in their seats. If he's willing to play nice and come off the bench, then the Nets and Thunder are options.

This is SHAQ. He won't take that role. He's not searching for that "one ring" to finish his story. He's way too prideful to take a bench role, period.

spells disaster...

I think on the real that there are not that many places for this bum to go. More teams are thinking about the long term and its evident that shaq is no longer that guy that can bring your team over the hump in the short term.

He'll finish in New Jersey and retire right before the switch to Brooklyn. Hes always wanted to play for his hometown. But does he accept the backup role? Or does that push Brook to the 4?

He needs to retire. As great of a player as he was in the heyday and was GREAT, all he does is take of space. I mean his hook shot isn't even consistent anymore. He used to be able to go out and get 35 pts 12 reb 3 blocks off 60+% shooting. He will rarely ever duplicate that success in random games. I mean he couldn't even play most of the time, he was just brought in for D12... ANd hurt them against everyone else.

I hope the celtics take him. Then have maybe one last good year before they all really are too old to win. It'll be a slap in the face to lebron and the lakers if he wins a championship here
