Why does he have good stats lines but never makes an added impact on a team? and he's always getting good contracts yet look at Phoenix, Toronto, Miami and now Dallas, teams seem to either remain the same or get better when he leaves.

Are there other players you can think of with good stats/big pay but just never make a difference.

He hasn't had good stats since he left phoenix

He did pretty decent in Toronto average like 15 and 8 but age is catching up to this guy.

Dallas has a first year coach and a bunch of first year (in dallas) players. They may be ebtter next they jus did not have time to adjust. They got beat by a vetern team really not that much shame in that.

Plus dallas disappears in the playoffs. This is not the first and with that core of players it wont be the last

Can't really comment on his time in Miami or Dallas because i didn't follow him at all then, but I loved watching him when he played in Phoenix with Nash. I'm sure Nash and Phoenix' quick pace helped his stats.

I thought he was a good fit in Toronto while he was here. He helped us end on a positive note after a horrific 08/09 campaign. I kind of wish he stayed to be honest. Age has caught up with him, but I still think he is a very good role player on a playoff team. Just not the impact player that we saw in Phoenix a few years back.

Yea as a team.. but tht doesnt excuse Caron Butler from not being an impact player.. he was suppose to be their golden ticket to get over the hump with the lakers

first player that came to mind. On paper, he is efficient, and a very good scorer. But his teams almost always suck

Shawn Marion played great defense, shot high percentages and rarely turned the ball over. He's out of his prime now, but you're nuts if you don't think he helped his teams.

This thread belongs to Monta Ellis as a #1 option. Puts up nearly 26/5/4 this year, but his team chemistry was just off. He makes everyone on the floor worse when he tries to take over games, which is his default setting. That said, as a #2 option where he understands his role he can be a huge help.

Indeed. He puts up nice #'s, yet he's still 12th on his team in offensive reg adj +/- and is good for last in reg adj +/- on the Warriors (and yes Mikki Moore is ranked higher than him in reg adj +/-).

What stat line are you looking at? How did he have a good stat line in Dallas? He brings good defense, he doesn't have a good stat line.

A few people have mentioned Deng. I was always under the impression that Luol Deng was an impact player, but I don't get to see him play too often. Is he over rated?

Corey Maggette, i don't mind ballhogs (i'm an A.I fan), but when all you do is get the ball, put your head down and rumble towards the hoop and throw up a ridiculous shot every ****ing time.......

I don't know where youre getting that idea from as Zach's adj +/- shows otherwise.

Well....Clippers and Warriors.....that's not really fair to the guy. He should have gone to the Spurs when they offered him the midlevel.
