Why doesn't ABC have any good intro's to games like these.

I miss basketball on NBC. But JVG, Marc Jackson and Mike Breen are a good broadcasting trio.

ABC had some on before today's game. I remember seeing Larry Johnson's 4 point play and some others.

It's all about that Robin Hood Prince of Thieves theme(If you haven't seen this movie, go see it now before the new Robin Hood). Put that music on anything and it instantly becomes the most inspiring thing ever....

NBA on NBC was the best, but that's the way it goes. Music and movies were also better back then too. Everything changes I guess. It's not meant to be a knock on anybody becuz everywhere you look now there's so many talented people, athletes, music artists, actors, entertainers.......but let's face it, back in the 80s/90s, sports/music/movies were so much better than they are now.

I've actually grown to like the ABC/ESPN one a lot too. It's not the NBA on NBC, but it's still good.

Gotta love the NBC broadcast crew, and the intros, AND the theme song. Bob Costas was excellent.

Now we get to listen to Mark Jackson sound like he's trying to interview for every head coaching position available and Jeff Van Gundy ask "what's the deal with?..." 5 times per game.

Mark Jackson: "What I would do in this situation, if I were the head coach of an NBA team, is..."

Jeff Van Gundy:"What's the deal with..." or "Here's another insignificant NBA rule I would change...."

JUST CALL THE GAME.

They had some great intros back then. The could make the Clippers v Kings sound like the most important game in the history of the world.

And then you have Mike Bland and Mike "Costas Wannabe When Im Not Stalkin" Tirico.

TNT is way better. They have Albert, Stockton, Harlan...theyre all better than the crap ESPN/ABC is serving up. The only good thing ABC/ESPN has going is Hubie Brown and theyre not even smart enough to make him the lead. Instead we have to listen to a bunch of passive aggressive ex-Knicks beat us over the head with their cliche's and monologues. Barf.
