Artest really doesn't deserve a ring...he destroyed the Pacers and screwed over my Rockets...only to jump on the Lakers bandwagon...not saying that wasn't a smart move...but he really isn't a guy who I ever said to myself "oh man, I hope Artest gets a ring!"...Steve Nash helped turn the Suns into a legit contender when they were mediocre at best before he got there...he remained loyal when it looked like they were done...and now that they are legit again...it would be a cool story to see him get a ring...he's a class act and he deserves it...I used to hate Nash...and I'm still not sure he deserved at least the 2nd MVP he got...but I've grown to respect him...

Give it some time :). He has always handled himself during the first year or so on a new team. After that its.... There was thiis thing between him and Phil just recently. I thought that it was the coming out party for the real RON, but fortunately for the Lakers it settled down. But im very confident, that in some time the Lakers and Ron will part ways in an unfriendly manner.

Sadly, Ron is just too much of a moron to understand in what great situation he is in currently.

Phil can do whatever he wants!

He has been calling out his players on front of the media many times.

like in the oklahoma series, that kobe should shoot less or way before that kobe is uncoachable, but I think it rather helps lakers than harm.

Steve Nash. Just an incredible teammate who would do anything to help his team, he's been screwed over by a couple of basically random occurrences (nose, hip check), he just really deserves one. Grant Hill is a close, close second, a superstar, HOF caliber guy who simply lost his prime and has worked as hard as anyone in the league to get back.

Raph12
05-16-2010, 09:54 AM
Dwight Howard, he deserves it after his long and storied career. ;)

Seriously though, getting a ring when he's 24 will give him an edge on most of the great centers in history (besides Russell, let's be realistic, no one is touching that).

I would like to see Vince Carter win his first ring. He seems like a real genuine guy that got this thug rap because he had a break down during the Olympics. He is a good guy from a great family. He went back to school to get his degree. He is a great role model similar to Ray Allen.

He's constantly led his team to great record after great record only to either face a bad match-up in the playoffs (like this year) or catch a bad break. (the bench incident)

How does anyone deserve a title? I realise some guys never get to play on a good team, but even that can happen as a poor descision durring free agency or developing a bad rep for one reason or another. Titles are hard earned, not given to the guy who deserves it most.

Steve Nash without a doubt.
Dwight Howard should not be in the list. He is only 24 and doesn't deserve a ring with almost Ben Wallace type of offence. He is the second most overrated player in the league. Because of the lack of quality bigmen in the league today, DH is considered an elite center. He wouldn't exist in 90's. Today's game is another proof.

As a Raptors fan, I think I'd puke in my mouth a little if Carter got one. Howard has lots of time still to get one, where as Nash and Hill are pretty near to the curtain call of their respective careers.

Artest... he's a ring chaser, its easy to sign with a title defending team and hope to get a ring, they already did it without him, so I'm not really pulling for him to get one. And Most of the guys on Boston that I like already have one, so...
