So, what does happen now? O'Neal is a free agent now and wants to keep playing.

"Of course," he said. "I missed 360 games because of injury in my career, so by my calculations I still have 3.7 years left. That means I'm going to play until I'm 41. I've been here 17 years but I've missed a lot of games, so I still feel I can play this game."

He has said he really enjoyed his experience in Cleveland, so he'd consider returning, although many things are undecided at this point, including the status of LeBron James and coach Mike Brown.

"There are a lot of free agents on the team," he said. "We just have to sit back and I'm sure everybody's going to do what's best for them."

he signs with the lakers for the vet minimum. maybe for 2 or 3 years. comes off the bench and plays 15-20 mins a game (15 normally) 20 if drew or gasol is in fould trouble.

And he will be the go to guy in our second unit (yes, thats how bad our second unit is)

^ Why would the Lakers want Shaq? Might as well sign someone.

Shaq isn't going to retire until he gets 5 rings.

I really can't think of one good fit or a team that would want Shaq. He should probably just call it a career.

Not without LeBron. He bought him a Phantom, do you really expect him to play without him on the Cavs?

If i'm a GM the only way i sign Shaq is if he's willing to accept a role off the bench. He looks done, and his days as a starter are over.

As much as I hate to say it...he is a 7 foot 350pound liability on any team now.
