btw, Pau Gasol is the best player on the lakers right now. please dont focus on media and hype and star power. Pau Gaol is the best player on the lakers, and as of right now its not that close

How boring was this series? Wish it had some sort of Drama, throughout all the games i just thought the Lakers would beat them some way. I never thought the Jazz had a chance. I hope the WCF is better.

Actually how boring has playoffs been in general. Where is the competitive basketball geez. Maybe the NBA needs a hard cap or something because there is no competition right now. 3 of 4 series are sweeps ouch. Bring on the 7 game series.

well Pau has been the best player this series but against Okc Kobe was the best i guess Kobe will be the best again against suns.

The Magic are undefeated in the playoffs and have won 14 straight, 28 of their last 31 and 41 of their last 49 games...

Pau Gasol, as of right now, is the best player of the lakers. its debateable. its a combination of kobe being hurt and Pau playing great, but as of right now Pau is the best player on the lakers. hes a more effcient scorer and his size defense and rebounding are the main reason the lakers are so dangerous. but most people in this forum are closeminded and will facepalm without tihnking and discussing becuz kobe bryant is the bigger name with the bigger star power with more flaire

Utah never had a chance. LA's first round series could very well be the toughest one they see in the playoffs.

Kobe is still the team's best player. Gasol had a major size advantage and he took advantage of his height advantage on Boozer and Milsapp. He was great this past series, but don't get it twisted, Kobe is still the top dog on the team.

Kobe shot over 50 pct. against the Jazz and had 4 straight 30 point games and won games in the 4th quarter for us in Games 1 and 2. He had a 12 point 4th quarter in Game 1 and took over the game. He had a similar game in Game 2. In game 3, Kobe had 35 pts and 7 assts along with the game tying 3 pointer and game winning assist to Fisher (Fish hit the game winning 3). I say all of that to say that Kobe was having a great series against Utah.

Pau has been great against Utah and came up huge in all 4 games. He dominated the inside and controlled the low block. Great series by him. He was extremely efficient during the 4 games against the Jazz and his size was too much for the Jazz frontcourt.

And your point is? Thankfully, you took your 5 team rotating sig down and picked a team for the playoffs :rolleyes:

I'm assuming you picked the Magic based on your post ;)

As a Jazz fan, it's tough to see the Lakers beat us for the 3rd year in a row, and quiet handily. I hope you guys enjoy this year and good luck in the next round. Next year, we will be smart enough to be a 2,3,6 or 7 seed so we don't see you until the WC Finals. Good luck.

Got respect for Deron, Sloan, Miles, Milsap, and Korver for the way they competed.

Boozer had it rough and it got rougher

Statistically wise he is. He leads the team in both PER and Win Shares this season in the regular and now the playoffs.

:laugh: Im laughing at you(just can't stop hating Kobe) not the fact Gasol is the best player. They were both the best players it was a 1 2 punch with the Fisher knock out.
