Seriously guys, can someone explain to me how not one ref saw that yet Tirico said three or four times that a foul could have been called? These refs are getting ridiculous. It clearly could have lost LA the game had either of those last two shots gone in.

Uuhh, a tit for tat. Boozer was hammered on the other end under the basket.

tackled?

I thought you played football?

That wasn't a tackle.

Missed call?

Yeah maybe.

But that's on ron more than anyone. You can't throw such a uncommitted pass.

I recorded tackles by putting my arm around someone's waist and them ending up in the floor. It wasn't a trip or a push, so tackle is the best word.

Clearly you are the one who doesnt know what a tackle is.

He grabbed fisher, and fisher went to the floor.
it doesnt have to be some huge hit to be a tackle.

Didn't say it had to be a big hit, but that wasn't a tackle. A foul, maybe. Fisher definitely did what he does, and acted it up.

More than anything though, it was a ****** indecisive pass by Artest.

This is about the REFS, not the LAKERS. This crap is happening in every series. It's ridiculous.

I guess you missed the bazillion calls the entire game Utah got away with.

The boozer call or no-call shouldn't have even existed.
The missed call for fisher could have easily cost us the game.

He pulled him down by his jersey, but after the non-call on that end, it wasn't a big deal IMO.

Right. And that's why the thread is called "Fisher tackled in open floor"

How about we move this to the game thread. Game OVER, Series is basically Over. No one has come back from 3-0. Teams are 88-0 all-time. Soon to be 91-0 after Lakers sweep Jazz, Magic sweep Hawks, and Suns beat Spurs in 5 (I think Spurs take game 4 in San Antonio).

Its the NBA, everyone should expect a no call or a crap call on any play. Its how they roll.

Just let the Lakers fans that think the world is out to get them do so, while the rest of us enjoy sanity.

It was a blatant foul, not sure how it went uncalled. If Utah would have won on the next possession there would be a media firestorm, and rightly so.

When someone grab you by the waist and both go down it's an official tackle.

why is there an entire thread on a bad call????

OMG, who cares we won are you are still complaining dammmmmmmmmmmn. It goes both ways all the time and even if he hadn't fouled Fisher he still would have got the steal due his long reach and terrible pass.

Please, stop making us Laker fans look bad.

If this is only supposed to be about the refs, then why is the thread title 'Fisher tackled in Open Floor"?
A few weeks ago there was a thread about grading the refs. Reopen that to complain.

The rest of the fan bases here don't care that fisher was fouled and there was a non call.

boozer got hacked on the other end - no call

fisher got grabbed on the waist - no call

artest is dumb for throwing that pass anyways, he should be more selective with 7 seconds to go, especially since they had 2 timeouts left.

lakers won anyways, even though the jazz had a great look in the end IMO, so stop complaining

can we close the thread now?

At the time I thought it was a foul that should have been called as well. But after the final buzzer and we won, I was glad that it happened. No one can say that the Lakers get the benefit of the ref's whistle.

It's also good to know that during the final minutes of a tight game with both teams going back and forth that the refs will pocket their whistles unless it's a blatant foul on a guy who has possession of the ball. If you go back and watch the last 2 minutes of the game, you could see several away from the ball violations that could have been called on both sides. The refs played to the drama, didn't get in the way of the intensity and let both teams play.

Yup, just like USMCLaker said, there's no point in *****ing, we won the damn game, we have a 3-0 lead. That's all that matters. Be grateful for that. At the end of the day, things worked out for the Lakers because we got the W and are on the verge of our first sweep of a playoff series since we did it in the 2008 1st rd against the Denver Nuggets.

Now let's close this thread already.

wow a laker fan complaining about not getting a call go your way when 90% of the time the refs favor your team.

They were making it even for the no call when fisher slapped boozers arm off the rebound previous play.

The jazz will not let the lakers sweep them. Never been swept in the playoffs before. will not happen

The Jazz get away with a lot of stuff in Utah.

But like people have said. LA got away with one on the other end right before that.

I think it was a make-up no-call for Fisher dropping The People's Elbow on Scola last year.
