This first half is stunning.
Atlanta is being held to a jump shooting team. I really feel for their fans. They have such great fans and they have to endure such a lackluster performance.

Ya I feel for the Hawks fans. They have been extrememly classy and I would be frusterated watching their team with their lack of effort. I think it has alot to do with the coaching. When Atlanta gets down they change their offense to a bunch of iso plays instead of moving the ball around and getting good shots. Obviously that benefits my team but its not like we're seeing Atlanta at their best, but it's all about matchups and we match up extrememly well with Atlanta.

macc
05-08-2010, 07:04 PM
Josh Smith takes to many long 2's. He should watch where his feet are and step back the extra 4 inches to make his long two's actual 3 pt shots.

Howards offense is terrible. I mean he's missed 4 shots this entire series.....

Teeboy1487

What the **** is happening to the home teams in the 2nd round?

Cavs getting blown out in game 2 at home by the Celtics.

Celtics getting blown out in game 3 at home by the Cavs.

Spurs (most notably in the 2nd half) getting blown out in game 3 at home by the Suns.

Hawks getting blown out in game 3 at home by the Magic.

RadiantShot
05-08-2010, 07:36 PM
I don't feel for the fans at all, unless they are fake bandwagon fans. No matter how bad my team would be getting killed, I'd never, EVER boo them. Just no real reason. They're trying their best, and even if they get blown out of the water, that's no reason to boo them.

The Hawks fans are garbage and could very well be the reason for the Hawks not having a chance in the playoffs. All year long, the Hawks ranked in the bottom third of the league in attendance, if your fans don't believe in you, who will?

The Hawks have clearly given up and look overwhelmed, now the Magic will just have to continue to keep their focus and just straight up dominate... One more W SteveNash, just one more.

I agree with my Boys Radiant and Macc they have been Classy, but the Hawks fan jumped on when they made the playoffs, not true fans, true fans stick with the team when ur star center goes to LA for 3 mill more, and when your team signs grant hill coming off a broken ankle, and not letting Duncans wife fly on the private jet, and have horrible drafts, but all those years of no play offs and early drafts are worth where we are at now :D

PS... I'm making some of you lame-*** fans

Except Kobe actually did slow down because of his injuries after they hit him. He wasn't dunking the ball on someone or blocking someones shot with force with his injured hand then the next play down acting like he's hurt.

I checked the boxscore, and saw that Wes Matthews was only 2-11 from the field. Ouch! But his defense on Kobe, and at times, on Farmar and Brown was still pretty good. His shots weren't falling tonight, and luck was not on his side on that last tip in attempt.

I cant remember who did it, but Wesley didnt look himself after he took a hard elbow to the head. The guy is hard as nails staying in their and working his tail off though. I dont blame him whatsoever.

As for Boozer...missing 2 free throws, letting a pass slip through his hands when he had an open lane and being an overall ghost all night he is where my anger is directed right now

He always seems to have the quietest 20/10 games he seems to get his stats without making an impact if that makes sense even though he gets his 20/10 although tonight he only had 14.

you guys have him sussed, while Millsap finds a way to still be effective, stay active and never give up Boozer is the opposite. His time is up with the Jazz. For us to be successful we need a team full of DWills/Millsaps/Matthews in terms of heart and hustle and Boozer just isnt. Would be awesome if we could pick up a mid draft pick in a sign and trade and hand the power forward slot to Paul.

props to Korver. Admits he's sucked all series in the Utah press, says he will work hard to get going again, comes out and shoots 5/5 from downtown and shoot 90% for the game. I didn't want him to drive in the lane because I doubt he would have gotten the call, but I definitely would have liked to see him get a bit closer - like maybe a little behind the FT line area. He's usually money from there and I remember him draining a similar shot to that vs LA in the playoffs last year to win the game.

I think JJ is right, after a 53-win season, 34-7 at home, the Hawks are 22nd in the league for attendance. Their fans, or lack there of, are a big reason why they're not a legit contender... They should be ashamed of themselves.

This is not a motivator to get more people to come out. If I was a ticket buyer I would be pissed that I payed my money to see the team half-*** the game. And it's not like the fans are gonna make the Hawks play at another level of basketball. Today's game was packed, not sure what else they want.

Do you even watch the Jazz play at home?

Their fans have no faith in them, so they have no faith in themselves as well, keep in mind, this is a pretty young team. If their fans come out all season or atleast keep them out of the bottom third in the league's attendance rankings, it will definitely make a difference.

No I mean Jazz, they're a completely different team at home, why because their fans are some of the loudest and most passionate in the league. Having your fans behind you 100% makes a big difference, especially to a younger team.
