Hes not that bad of a player. Hes a serviceable big man who can put together some solid stats off the bench. He just isn't consistent enough of a player to be a starter in the NBA, and that makes him look like a bust due to where he was picked.

Too bad hes going back to Europe. He definetly would find a home somewhere else or even in Minnesota as a backup PF/C.

He is very skilled, but hasn't been given a chance in the NBA yet. He is mentally depressed, so I am not sure how much of his capabilities he will ever live up to. Minnesota will most likely resign him for a shorterm deal in the mid level range, he apparently enjoyed the playing time and role he had with the Wolves. I think he will turn into a serviceable big man who gets around 11/7 with some paint protection in 28 mpg.

I don't see any other NBA team really giving him an opportunity to really grow. He'd be better served going overseason.

Btw, lovin these creative thread titles: First Name, Last Name :sigh:

He could be a very serviceable big man, D'Antoni never gave him a chance in New York.

But I think he is leaving for overseas, he won't get paid that much in Minny.

if worse comes to worse the Jazz should ditch their 2 project 7 footers and sign Darko as a bench big, he's better than them at least

He could psobily end up being a solid starter 12-14 ppg and 8-10 rpg somwhere that gav him some confidence.
But he will never be forgiven for having been picked second.
