Kevin Durant gets a lot of bs calls, it makes sense when Lebron gets it because he attacks the rim hard with wreckless abandon, but KD plays too soft to get the same/more calls than LBJ.

I said this a long time ago, but w/e it's the NBA, Lakers were clearly the better team, no amount of FTs could change that.

only 55? that seriously could not have made any difference. i dont get why laker fans are complaining about lol.

It doesn't matter that the Lakers more points in the paint and Lakers outscored the Thunder in the paint in 4 out of the 6 games played. There is way more contact on Jumpshooters, that is why the Thunder got more FTs.

yea those pansy lakers thinking that scoring in the paint deserves more ft's. its all about the perimeter play that leads to ft's. they deserved every foul that was called on them.

LA is not as aggressive as OKC. That's the bottom line. They can complain about officiating, but that was not the reasoning for the differential.

yea i mean besides the fact that la had by far more points in the paint they were the LEAST aggressive. :P

Because all shots in the paint have contact

You can be more aggressive right outside of the paint driving than running through the middle of the lane taking a jumper.

Thank you! Someone who finally gets it.

Westbrook and Durant both drive more than anyone on the Lakers.

Whatever. Lakers won and they're my team. It's all good.

It doesn't matter. Lakers won even with the Thunder haveing a chance to get 9 more freebies a game than the Lakers. If the Lakers were spotted 9 more ft's a game, the games would have all been blowouts.

that doesn't look like a foul at all on Gasols rebound putback. The arm is part of the ball.

It shouldn't matter if the offensive player adjusts in an attempt to avoid contact in order to make his shot.. if that's the case with KD. It certainly is with Rose. A foul is a foul is a foul. If not, I'd like to see the rule that explains the differences.

I don't understand why anyone is saying anything about OKC having more freethrows. I am a Laker fan, and some of the freethrows were driving me crazy, but the Thunder were extremely aggressive and earned a lot of them. They are THE TEAM of the future, in the West IMO.
The comment that states that Lebron earns his freethrows through driving to the hoop with "wreckless abandon" vs Durant using his head and baiting defenders into fouling him wasn't very smart. Lebron does earn his way to the charity stripe a lot through creating contact and forcing the refs to make a call, but Durant is more like Kobe in the fact that he gets defenders to bite on pump fakes or he swings through a defenders outstretched arm. I still think Lebron is the most protected player in this league...even though I think he is probably the hardest to officiate. Durant doesn't get any more "bailout calls" than Lebron or any other superstar does. Live with it. Favoritism is alive and well. Every playoff team has their star that gets star calls.
Congratulations OKC on a HUGE leap from last year. They're going to be a scary team for years to come

Doug Collins mentioned that on more than one occasion. I can't remember who he said Durant learned that from.

That's relevant in the discussion. He's 21. I think he's been working on his game and not so much on his complexion.
