TNT just reported.

And in the most surprising news of the day... Brandon Roy has been activated for this game.

Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan said guard Brandon Roy has "a shot" at playing in Monday's Game 5 after watching the All-Star go through Saturday's shootaround at the Rose Garden.

Im scared now, our defencive strategy will have to change. Looks ike Nash will have to guard Miller, Hill on Roy, and Jrich on batum or webster, whoever is starting.

Roys a beast.

Roy is fresh out of surgery.

Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have that big of a game. The Suns should still win.

Think of it more like a willis reed effect than stat effect

He's probably going to play extremely limited minutes tonight but that he's back in 8 days is incredible

He's not starting though.

I guess we won't see him play a lot of minutes, if any.

Terrible decision. Health > 1 win

Being Eliminated from the Playoffs > Health.

At least that is what the coaching staff is thinking.

This is a bad decision by the coaching staff...if this guy ****s his knee up even more, it will really hurt his, and Portland's future

That's one dumb coaching staff. But I don't really care... they can ruin their franchise.

kind of playing like a decoy today. just hope he isnt full of pain meds so that he ignores his pain, because i would be really unhappy if he messed his knee up more.

Agreed, his 3 pointer (and the midranger that came after that) determined the outcome of this game. Those were gamechanging shots.
