Aramis Ramirez will be rested on Thursday.
Aramis went 0-for-6 with two strikeouts and five left on base in Wednesday's win over the Mets. He's hitting just .131 on the season but we fully expect him to get it going soon.

Where's the clowns that call Rotoworld not a real source?

And I hope he figures this out.

I've always been surprised Ramy can hit that well the way he swings out of his shoes. Just needs to make some adjustment. Now whatever that is? Is the question.

No he hasn't sat out yet. He's played every game. Today will be his first day off.

Nope. So anyone have any idea who will start today? I'd like to see Baker at 3b and Fontenot at 2b. I can't imagine us scoring many runs against Santana might as well try to play as good defense, as possible.

He's 0 for his last 17. 6 Ks 0 BB This is the second time he's gone 15+ at-bats with out a hit and it's only april.

the key words here, only April.

By late May/ early June, A Ram will be the least of our offensive worries, and this even if he's on track to have a proverbial "down year," which he's never really had as a Cub. We are not getting on base, we're striking out a ton up and down the line up, and we're leaving men on consistently in scoring position. 2009 anyone? This is the same offense, and no matter how much Big Byrd gets his hug on, he's not a game changer in this line up. Soriano and Soto are, and dare I say, both are starting off pretty decently. If A Ram gets better, in conjunction with AS and Soto keeping it up, so does this offense. But it goes w/o saying, A Ram is our straw that stirs the drink.

I just hope ARam starts seeing the ball. He's hit way too many pop fouls.

2005 says hi!

I forgot that guy was on our team. If only we could send out Cubs pitching when he's up to bat. It always seemed he was killing us.

If by stupid, you mean awesome;

And if by losers, you mean winners;

Then yes, you are correct.

I notice you left out the part where he called you a girl?

Anyways, Aramis has been the most frustrating Cub this season. By far the LVP of the team in April.

Call up Castro and trade Theriot and Aramis.

I realize that Rammy needs a day off. Hell, he may need to go back to Mesa for a while. But it just baffles my mind how Lou works. Let's wait until a game in which we face one of the more dominant LHP in baseball to give Rammy a day off and give Tracy some AB's.

:laugh2: Makes a whole lot of sense.

Looks like we need to cut Aramis. He pops up every single time and obviously doesn't care about the game. If he did he would be hustling out those infield fly balls.

it will be hard pressed to trade ramirez without a 3B to take his place fulltime
