Yeah he has done a good job with that team. I didn't expect Jerry to get it anyway,

Has he won one yet? If not he is due.

Has he won one yet? If not he is due. Nah he hasn't won one yet, which is such a shame.

Tough to make a case for him this year though with the jobs Brooks and Skiles did.

Scott Brooks did a great job, but this award needed to go to either Skiles or Sloan(lifetime achievement award)

Salon got screwed again.... year in and out he does one thing- win consistantly

im not saying skiles didnt deserve to be recognized, but he won 46 games in the eastern conference, the Thunder won 50 games in the much more difficult western conference. i dont see any debate, i agree that sloan should get a lifetime achievement award or something, but Brooks deserved it this year

Bucks were supposed to be worst team in the league, but they made the playoffs

Congrats to Brooks as he definitely deserved it. I was hoping that Nate would win it, but there can only be one winner.

I think Skiles should have won it, but Brooks did a great job this season.

IMO...if you switch the coaches from the teams- thunder do EVEN better and bucks do worse...

I was hoping Sloan would get the award but I knew Brooks would end up being the COY.

Congrats to him though. He's a good coach.

not really when you have kevin durrant. yea i know OKC sucked last year, but you knew they were gonna grow. do you think it was cause of brooks? i think skiles had less to work with and was still able to get a 6th seed.

wow jerry sloan is int he hof. but has yet to get a coy award.

the way the award is set up its ridiculous u either have to have the best record in the nba, or have to helm a team which has had a terrific turnaround.

sloan is has been consistently winning for a looong time. yet he doesnt get rewarded for that? wtf.

but aside from that props to brooks hes a good coach.

Scott Skiles should've won IMO....that Bucks roster looked like a 20 win team in the beginning of the season with an injury prone Bogut, injury prone Michael Redd, a rookie people were unsure about in Jennings, journeymen in Delfino and Kurt Thomas, and some no namers in Mbah a Moute and Ilyasova.

I'd have:
1) Skiles
2) Mcmillan
3) Brooks

Congrats to him, I had it between him, Skiles and Sloan... I'd be good with any of the three getting it.

Scott Brooks is coaching the youngest team in the league, and we had the biggest turnaround of any team in the league, going from 23 wins to 50 in the ultracompetitive Western Conference. So saying Skiles was robbed is a little ridiculous. Both coaches did a great job, as well as McMillan, Sloan, Gentry, Larry Brown, and heck, I think Rick Adelman did a heck of a job in Houston. Alot of guys could have won it. But Brooks winning it requires no explanation.....even though I gave one.;)
