View Full Version : Andres Nocioni on the block - what would you give for him?

Kings president Geoff Petrie said the team will try to accommodate Andres Nocioni's desire to play elsewhere next season.

"He's a guy that's turned 30 ... He's looking at how many productive years he has left," said Petrie. The ultra-competitive veteran has seem his minutes pinched by young SFs Donte' Greene and Omri Casspi. http://www.sacbee.com/2010/04/17/2685386/qa-with-no-coaching-search-petrie.html

So Andres Nocioni is on the block this summer, what would you give up for the Argentinian?

Why the **** would we package our pick...

I'd rather just hold onto the guy and have Favors or Cousins, than have Calderon and someone with the 13th pick.

You guys wanna do Bosh and your 13th overall pick for Nocioni, Landry, and a second round pick? ...

Although the Celtics would never make a move for Nocioni, I think that the most realistic player to trade for him would be Shelden Williams.

 for Europe

Keep in mind the Kings have cap room and arent likely to attract a lot of players. Its not like theyll do anything to get rid of him. On the other hand, hed be good off the bench when he has a solid role that he understands; and next year hes an expiring so..

I'd actually be willing to throw in our first rounder as long as they take Turk off our hands for expirings (which Nocioni sort of is)

the only way to get rid of him is to send him away with a talented player. He is horrible.

I love it when people bash decent players. Nocioni was considered one of the better 2-way players in the league not long ago.

Yep, even though he's on my favorite team, I hate him more than any other player. I don't see him getting moved, he's chucked away any trade value he had.

Sac will probably have to hold onto him until next summer, when he can be used as an expiring. They won't be able to play in the free agent market anyways this season, may as well hold on to him till next year unless someone bites.

Ill tell you this...enjoy having him show up in only 10 games per season..he had plenty of chances here with us but just never really delivered..id be happy if we got Calderon for him straight up.

Calderon is better, but not at the expense of having to add another year at $10 million. Besides, you already have an overpaid average point guard signed through 2013 in Beno. Why do you need another one?

Nocioni has one year less so that seems enticing. but i think Calderon has enough value that we can get atleast an expiring. I would they take Hedo for Nocioni but i probably no the answer to that

Take him. If by heart and hustle you mean he chucks up bad shot after bad shot and whines like a little *****, then you are correct.
