Thought Durant and Wade would have been more clutch.
It's good to see VC #7 for me he hit so many shots all year long. If only those huge 3s wouldnt have been followed by a last second tip dunk by the other teams...

Dirk has been a monster Ill give him that, he and Jason Terry are the sole reason the Mavs have a record so out of line with their teams talent level. Most teams with the Mavs efficiency differentials would have won 49 games. Thats my only worry, if the games are close down the stretch, the Mavs have all the best closers but the Spurs should whip them before it gets to that point.

PS VC's #'s arent great guys, you see that # under the column for FG%. Thats not what you want your go to guy shooting in the clutch.

My first thought? HOLY ****! Look at Lebron's ****ing numbers. Even defensively...

Averages: 66.1 points on 49% - 15.9 boards - 8.3 assists - 3.2 blks - 3.2 stls

If there was even a modicum of doubt as per who the best player in the NBA is, this is as far as you have to look.

Durant needs to get used to/grow into his role as the go to man, and be able to work around the immediate double teams he sees during that period of the game. I'll be following how he does in this situation during the playoffs and into next season.

if theres any doubt now as to who the best player in the league is, then i dont know what nba fans are looking at. lebron has put up a monster season on both sides of the court, and he clearly is the best player in the league as of this moment.

Lebron 80% from the line ? not buying that one at all. I see dude miss 4th qt ft all the time. I remember one game the stat came up and said dude was shooting near 60 percent from the line in the 4th.

You only post and start threads when Lebron is at the top of anything.

Forget the stats. Kobe is more clutch but LeBron is the better player/has the ability to dominate a game himself.

Look what what TheKing23 said, that's dead on for me. If you have seen any Cavs games, you would know Lebron completely dominates the 4th quarter. With rather ease actually. But Kobe is the best at game winners.

True, he took the most shots. But if we're comparing Kobe/Lebron, you'd also take into consideration Lebron's superior fg%, the fact that ''41fga''s and ''36fga''s isn't a vast difference when you account that it's only over a 5 minute stretch each game, so the 13% difference in their fga average comes out to Lebron, in actuality, taking less than 1 shot more per game in the clutch minutes.

The discrepancy in steals/blocks/assists/rebounds and NET +/- however cannot be ignored. He's the best in the clutch, period. Been that way for the last three years [check 82 games sortable clutch stats for the last 3 seasons].

anyone who actually understands who to explain their statements rationally and with evidence knows what they are talking about. There are a few on this site, but many just throw opinions around with no substance.

Rudy Gay and Brook Lopez were surprisingly awful.
