Wow. Steph Curry is actually probably going to be the MVP of the Western Conference for the month of April also. Check out his numbers in comparison to the other three choices -- Dirk, Pau and Durant:

Name Team Pos g min/g pts/g 3/g reb/g ast/g stl/g blk/g fg% fga/g ft% fta/g to/g

Curry, GSW G 8 39.4 26.4 3.1 6.4 8.1 2.6 0.4 0.469 20.3 0.895 4.8 3.1

Gasol, LAL C 7 37.6 24.3 0.0 12.6 4.7 0.7 2.3 0.615 14.9 0.778 7.7 2.6

Nowitzki, DAL F 7 35.6 28.4 1.1 8.3 1.9 0.7 0.4 0.515 18.9 1.000 7.9 1.9

Durant, OKC G 8 40.6 34.6 2.5 7.9 3.8 2.0 1.6 0.478 22.3 0.946 11.5 2.8

Lakers record: 3-4

Warriors record: 5-3

Thunder record: 4-4

Mavericks record: 5-2

Factor in that the Warriors had the second best record of the 4, while Steph put up better numbers than anyone there other than possibly KD, and you have your MVP of the conference. Nice!

i cant believe 6 other teams skipped on Curry.

especially minnesota who had back to back picks. They are praying the Rubio will pan to to be a stud. Because they were the only team who really couldnt mess up in the draft.
