Congratulations Kevin Durant! He won his 1st scoring title and became the youngest player ever to win a scoring title at 21 years old.

Congrats young fella! Its going to be a blast seeing him and Lebron battle for scoring titles for years to come:clap:

haha. How do you figure? I don't think that there's any point in the season where Lebron averaged more than 30.1 points per game. This isn't a "total points scored" award, it's an average.

In the last 7 games Durant averaged 36.3ppg. Lebron would've had to average more than that to take the title from him. Chances are that ain't happening. In no 7 game stretch over the season did Lebron average that.

Took this title fair 'n square.

One of my favorite players to watch, a humble beast. Great job KD, the series against the Lakers will certainly help him develop and mature even more. I say he scores 52 in game 3.

It was KDs to lose before the season even started. He just wanted to let bron bron feel like he had a shot at it. It was Durants from the start, he's just too humble to ever come out and say things like that......unlike some other clowns who feel the need to always talk. Kevin Durant is the real deal. That's all I'm gonna say.

Kevin Durant is the future of the NBA. Kobe can now pass the torch to someone. Lebron will have to settle for number 2. Right now: 1. Kobe Bryant 2. Lebron James 3. Kevin Durant / 2 years from now 1. Kevin Durant 2. Lebron James 3. Carmelo Anthony/Dwayne Wade / Believe it Cleveland fans Durant will be the best basketball player in the world by the time he's 23-24. Congratulations Kevin Durant

The Future is bright for this kid. Your proved a lot of haters, who didn't believe in you after your rookie year.

Side note, he finishes with a very nice 47.5% FG percentage a near perfect 90% from the line on 10 a game; in total making the 6th most free throws in the history of the NBA for one season.

This kid might just have a future in this league.

Good on him. The Thunder needed him every moment down the stretch, and he was there. The Cavs needed LeBron's rest and that was there. It's awesome to see such a young gunner like Durant win it, but it's equally as good to see that LeBron is focused on the bigger prize.

His accomplishment will always have an * next to it cause Lebron sat out voluntarily and gave it to him.
