It was also against the toughest part of the Brewers lineup.

He's earned his pay all year long so far. Electric stuff so far this season and it's awesome. It's so pretty watching that man pitch like that.

Let's just hope he doesn't have that off month. He has been pretty much the opposite of last year. I still think that he should be the 8th inning man but whatever. Just rack up the Ks.

We just might have the best closer in baseball, if Marmol keeps it together. We definitely have the closer with the best stuff.

Marmol's stuff is absolutely filthy. Possibly the best stuff in the league when he's on.

If he can control himself and his stuff, we definitely have one of the best closers in baseball.

As long as he throws the "Slider from Hell" we are golden

Where can I get video highlights? I remember that with MLB.TV you could replay the game after it was over for free, but I can't seem to do that anymore.

They might put up his 9th inning on cubs.com later on. But I am able to go back and watch the games with mlb.tv, don't know what the deal is...

Where do you go on MLB.COM to view the game again? I really want to see this ninth inning.

In related news Kevin Gregg is doing well for the Jays and has just been named their closer.

You would hope that this continues and he doesn't get that dead arm phase due to over work early in the season. Lets get some blow outs!

Lol. Marmol has been ridiculous.

Its not a laughing matter, at least for the other team.

I would like to step into the box against Marmol and experience one of those nasty breaking balls. I'd most likely fall on my *** but it would be fun.

Hell yeah.. My knees buckled on some breaking balls in high school... Marmol would shatter my kneecaps they would buckle so hard.

Yeah if he can throw strikes with consistancy we got ourselves probably a top 5 closer.

He has had a bit of the control issues, starting an at-bat out with 2 balls, or too many 3 ball counts. But he has been straight filthy and can make up for that.

Marmol's last 2 saves have consisted of 6 batters, and 6 strikeouts. He will have a chance of another all star game this year.

But for us to contend, we HAVE to find an 8th inning guy.

Also all the strikeouts were swinging strikes. Just shows how baffled everyone was.

Especially that 3rd strike on Braun, filthy!
