To sum it up, Rasheed Wallace was going for a defensive rebound with nobody around him and he tipped the basketball in. It wasn't even close to the rim when it bounced out, but 'Sheed found a way to put it in. :laugh2

Luke Walton did it like a year ago.

why is this a thread? It happens often when fighting for a rebound, although he was the only one fighting for it

Ya I thought it was pretty funny.

Yep.. thanks for spotting us 2, Sheed. I guess he really is bored with the regular season.

You obviously didn't see it. Nobody was "fighting" for a rebound.

Read what I wrote.

You completely answered your own question, even worse. Why is this a thread? People sometimes do that when they are fighting for a board, NOBODY was fighting for a board.

If it makes you happy:

Although he was the only one going for the rebound. Instead of fighting. better? It makes NO difference.

its a flukey play, not thread worthy

Can't remember this feat was last recorded, and as soon as I can find a vid, I'll post it.

It happens more often than you think. I've seen it happen this year.

Super.
04-13-2010, 10:56 PM
Blair did it earlier this year, and someone on the Nets did it.

Not threadworthy

sheed embaressed himself. no one was trying to get the board. he was in clear position, but he somehow had some butter fingers after eating some KFC. Afterall, it is toonie tuesday. you know how us nigguhs love our chicken . and he just let it slip out.. wow sheed. a veteran doesnt make mistakes liek that. i now know why celtics fans complain how sheed hasnt been good with the celtics. hes chucking 3's. LMFAO wat a fail.

Why do people over-react and act like dicks? If you don't like you can choose not to post. I thought it was pretty funny and would love to see the clip.

yeah, this thread is a fail without the clip. It almost looked like Sheed was trying to score. And the look of resignation afterward.. priceless. lol

LOL, i saw as well, usually its people fighting for it and hits off the hand. But this one, Sheed was by himself, actually came half way down with it, THEN he put it in, very odd. But funny nonetheless, and he "found a way to put it in" lol.

C'mon, Sheed. It wasn't supposed to look like we were throwing the game so we can get the Cavs in the 2nd round where they will be still untested from the first round, and easier to beat than in the ECF after gaining momentum of 2 playoff series wins. We weren't supposed to make it look that obvious, man.

He clearly never got control, but from afar, it looked like he actually put it back in on purpose.

Cause it's funny and because it happened to a Celtic which makes it that much more humorous.. It really does...

straight up garbage. If anyone is a fan of Bill Simmons (like me), read his latest article (I wish he wrote it after he saw this play).

Bill gets a bad rap around here, but I think he's easily one of the most entertaining sports analysts in the business.

Lmao @ some of his tweets after watching the Celtics game tonight:

sportsguy33

Now I've seen it all. Rasheed just scored on his own basket. I swear to God. It was his best shot of the season. Just kill me.

sportsguy33

Dwyane Wade can beat this Celtics team by himself. He could play with his 2003 Marquette teammates and beat them. I hate this season.

sportsguy33

The Celtics are going to lose in Round One. Lock it down. This team has no heart. They want the season to end. You can see it in their eyes.

sportsguy33

Neglected to mention the latest atrocious coaching job by Doc Rivers tonight. When Vinny Del Negro outwits you its time to take a TV job.

As most people know, Simmons is a die hard Boston fan, and he is dying inside watching this Celtic team. Whatever, Bill, now you're just being spoiled. Or is it that rather than the 90's where they had no chance to win, this team still could have actually been good? Basket-blue balls?
