View Full Version : The Best of The Worst...

Ok, this season has come and gone. Not too many surprises as far as the playoff brackets (maybe the Bucks). I want to focus on the bottom dwellers. thou. Some of these teams merely on auto pilot preparing for one of the deepest free agent classes in league history and a very deep draft class. So which of these teams has made the shrewdest moves? Which has been the most surprising? Which is best set up for the future? Which has futilely made the most idiotic moves, hoping for free agents that will never come? Which team will have the biggest turnaround next year? Early predictions...

I doubt it. I think Lebron and Wade will most likely stay but i see Bosh, Gay, Johnson, Lee, and Studemire leaving.

Some of those teams shouldn't be on the list lol. GS should be on there. I'll say the Knicks.

OI wtf, man? Golden State Warriors are going to be sold to the 4th richest man in the world. We will be rid of the worst owner in sports history. I am pretty sure we will have the biggest turn around.

New Jersey, New York and even Miami have more to work with to have a bigger turn around then GS

Clippers, always homer, but Blake Griffin plays along with a free agent AND a lottery pick.
DAMN

Nets because of how horrible they were one good rookie and 1 good player signed = a lot more wins. Turner+Harris+Bosh+Lopez = a good team.

All depends on the draft and FA.

The Knicks and Clippers wont improve all that much, as in they will only contend for low-seeds IMO

I think the Clippers will be a scary young team next year. Griffin plus whoever they draft this year should = to a good young team. Also the Wolves. Its unlikely they will get Rubio there so they will most likely trade his rights over to NY, or NJ if the latter doesnt get Wall. They can possibly get Devin Harris for him. Idk what New York would offer but either way they will get some good value in return. Add a lottery pick and the Wolves will be anther turnaround team.

Homer pick: ROCKETS
Any time u instill a 7'6 all star who can give you 24 and 10 and 2 blocks a game, your gonna have a better team, not to mention the development of Aaron Brooks into an allstar, Jordan Hill's emergence, Kevin Martin having a full year with the team, and a possible sign and trade for another allstar, i think alot of people are going to sleep on this team.

Homer: Nets with only 12 wins its going to be easy to have a big turn around.

The Clippers could be good too. But it seems like we've said that every year for the past 3 years haha.

I think the Rockets should stand pat... I don't think they have enough balls for AB, K-Mart, Yao, Scola, and another all star... Those 4 and Battier/Ariza already make a strong 5. The rockets should focus on solid role players and specialists. I like the Rockets chances with that, but I hate that they are in the Hornets Division (with SA, Dallas, and improving Memphis talk about a stacked division).

Don't sleep on my Hornets!!! We gonna have a billionaire owner, a full season where someone other than CP3 can create a play (DC and Thornton), and big expiring contracts (Mo & Peja).

Every team is getting a billionaire owner now. Golden State, New Jersey, New Orleans...

I think you guys just need to get healthy. Half your team's injured, and there's some very solid players out. The D-Leaguers you have turned out to be good as well. If you just get a productive post player with some weight on his body and a motivated coach, I can't see why the Warriors couldn't be a playoff team.

definitely agree with you on NO, kinda under acheieved this season and were bit by the injury bug. And i agree the SW is freaking stacked as hell, although Memphis might take a step back next year( as a rockets fan i hope they do at least)

So much depends n free agency but im betting the biggest turnaround will belong to the Warriors and Nets
