At sportsbook.com the Lakers/Cavs final matchup used to be -175 (as recent as last week) and is now +150.

I was thinking of putting 400 to win 600 on this.

I believe lakers will turn it on in playoffs and we will get kobe/lebron in finals..

What you think?

oh god I'd never bet 400 bucks. lol that's just me personally though. It's the NBA, anything can happen.

You should just limit all these betting posts to one thread.
LA isn't losing round one so it doesn't matter what you bet, you won't lose.

actually its the opposite... the NBA is the most predictable of the big four sports, the best teams generally make the finals.

I'd make the bet at 400 and be fairly certain it would win.

Oh for the most part I agree when it comes to the regular season..I just think guaranteeing the Lakers and Cavs make the championship round is risky and I wouldn't drop 400 bucks on it. But I guess that's the point of betting :D

Kobe would have to go through the Durant's Thunder, Melo's Nuggets and Dirk's Mavs; while Lebron would have to get through the Bulls (Deng is a good defender), Celtics and Magic... Neither team have an easy path to the Finals, you got to look at risk vs reward.

The Bulls will probably choke, so he will probably get the Raptors.

(I'm a Bulls fan)

The bet he is talking about, LA and CLE both have to make the finals for him to win.

Lol I just got that, and you missed the fact that the Thunder are locked into the 8th seed, not the Blazers.

If the standings stay the way they are I can see the Lakers having th e easiest schedule out of the WC. They play Thunder,Suns/Jazz,Mavs(if they make it)

The Mavs might have it the worst, they would play the Spurs,Nuggets then Lakers(if they make it)

Are you good with losing $400?

I'd still put that as the most probable series, but with the Cavs having to go through the Magic and the Lakers 3 solid teams regardless of their path (not to mention that they don't look good), it's far from open and shut -- I wouldn't risk 4 for 6 on that. Bad bet.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the Jazz and Mavs, but yeah, sounds easier than Dallas' path.

Orlando's is Bobcats (2nd best defensive team in the league [Magic are #1]), Hawks (meh we match up well with them) and then Cavs (should be their greatest test).

I would rather offer you a greater deal... bet on a simple game... not whole playoffs, the odds aren't that big while both teams might not even get there...

Regular season games are way more unpredictable than playoff games. Never bet on the Lakers though, they look too shaky and have too many fans.
