I personally believe that Evan Turner is a better player than John Wall.
Would you guys pick him as #1??

Don't think I would...If Wall turns into Wade 2.0 you would probably regret it

Depends on which team has the pick. If you're Utah or New Orleans, you already have stud point guards so you probably go with Turner. Otherwise, you definitely go with the upside and potential that Wall offers.

If you're Utah, then you do, anyone else in the lottery should take Wall.

It always depends. If you're the Nets you probably want Turner because you already have a good PG. I think Turner will turn out to be like Bradon Roy or OJ Mayo and Wall will be a Deron Williams type player. Pick your favorite IMO. They will both be great NBA players.

Turner is better now, due to experience. But, Wall has a lot more potential. Wall's athleticism is what sets him apart. Unless Utah or New Orleans gets the pick, I think Wall is your #1.

I would say Evan Turner is a better rebounder and passer than Roy. I'm not totally sure if he's a better scorer. Both guys make their teammates better though. I'd give Roy the edge in being the better defender. (comparing roy out of washington not the current roy to turner right now)

I'm not sure why folks are saying that if NO or Utah get the first pick they should go with Turner. There is incredible demand for a guy like Wall and if you pick first you should go with the guy with the most market value. You can trade down to get Turner cuz you know other teams want Wall. You can get your man and then some.

Say NO gets first and Pacers get second. Given the financial situation in NO you can package that supposedly awful contract Okafor has with the first and swap down to get Turner and pick up expiring contracts and future considerations all in one trade. Folks know NO would most likely get even worse value for Okafor if they choose to wait until the trade deadline to move him for expiring contracts.

I'd go with Turner! Pure basketball skills never gets old and is not that easy to find. But you can find athleticism, quickness, high jumpers,etc....almost anywhere. But pure all around bball skills.....give me Turner!!!!

I like Turner lots, but Wall is a special talent that can't be missed. You can almost make the argument that Cousins should be the #1 pick too with how dominant he is in the paint.

I like Turner better. He is more well rounded knows how to run a team better and more efficiently than wall right now. He is also 6'7" with serious skills, defense, and there are very few areas in his game he doesn't do well in.

I think Wall is still pretty raw, and often gets out of control and turnover prone. Wall's upside at 6'4" and lightning quick is enough to turn heads, but I feel like early on he will be one of those guys who keeps both teams in the game.

Turner turns the ball over like a mother****er ... more than Wall.

I'd pick Turner too if I was the Bulls. But a Wall/Rose backcourt??? Holy Excitement.

edit: That said, the Bulls are not getting a top ten pick.

For my Sixers, I'd go Turner-- a great fit next to Holliday. But hell, Wall wouldn't be terrible either...

Evans is 22 when the season starts.

He's gonna be good but if you have number 1, you pick Wall. Even if you need a SG, you trade down to the 2nd spot because you get more value.

I'd go with Wall personally. Turner is maybe better right now but I don't see it staying that way.
