View Full Version : Your Team's Biggest Disappointment this season?

As a sixers fan I'd have to go with our poor record and utter lack of chemistry from the outset. Oh and Elton Brand. We really had high hopes for this team this year. Really thought we could have gotten off the snide and make a nice little playoff run this year with the team we have but it wasn't meant to be. :(

What's your team's biggest disappointment?

The Lakers bench.

I guess Vince shooting 42.5% (he's been great lately though) and Lewis having his worst year in a long time. Overall, it's been a great regular season though. I'd like to see Nelson regain last year's form too. His shooting just hasn't been amazing.

Injuries (Though I do like signing more D-Leaguers)

 trades

Cohan still owning the team.

health. half of the lakers team seems to have some sort of hand injury, hence pathetic 3 point shoothing numbers. the only competition to the lakers is injuries and that ***** is putting up an amazing fight.

I dunno if health is really that big of a disappointment... that is unless you are the Blazers. Injuries is something you just gotta expect every season.

It IS a big problem..

Ever since that playoff run and the best-record-for-not-making-to-the-playoffs year, we expect a great year but injuries killed the team for 2 years now.. we're still waiting for our REAL season where the whole line-up becomes healthy.

PG and SF play.

Kobe has logged too many SF minutes with Walton out and Fish has logged too many minutes because Farmar hasn't developed

ridiculous amounts of injuries, especially losing joel and greg for the season. thank god we got camby in a trade because we would not be close to getting the sixth seed without him.

Boston

Doc Rivers-End of half/game plays have been horrific, and hasn't been able to grab attention of team. Can't make his mind up on a rotation.
Sheed-Lazy, Poor shooting
Marquis Daniels-Just no impact
Nate Robinson-Out of rotation, when Boston needed bench scoring.
Glen Davis (Missing 30 games due to punching somebody)
Paul Pierce-Just doesn't haven't as much anymore.

Bulls

-still having Vinny Del Negro as Head Coach
-Luol Deng missing a lot of time again (3 years in a row now)
-Rose, Noah and Deng missing a lot of time, Bulls went on a 10 game losing streak b/c of it
-Jannero Pargo getting any playing time whatsoever
-not having any consistent 3PT shooters

Boston

First of all Paul Peirce BEING a grandpa with a stick while he plays. He shows no effort whatsoever.

Then Rasheed, I thought this guy can provide us with 8-10ppg and with some defense, so I was wrong.

And boston should be playing KG as Go to guy!!! and keep that ****ing peirc out of the game.
And Doc needs to put nate in the rotation WTF, nate is good.

We Warriors fans do not regret anything anymore because our team is going to completely change this offseason.

IMO, that was the biggest disappointment, going from leading candidate for MIP to playing 10-12 minutes a game.

For me (Nuggets), probably J.R. Smith. In a season I really expected him to keep making some noteworthy forward progress, he has at best plateaued, and at worst taken a step back. But he always finishes seasons stronger than he starts them, so if he brings it in the playoffs, I won't be worried about it.

Nene's failure to bring the necessary toughness and rebounding in K-Mart's absence (while he's been injured) has also disappointed, although he seems to be picking up steam. Played a great defensive game against L.A., which was nice to see.
