Whenever your trying to think of every basketball team for reasons like "what was this player's first team" or "what team drafted this guy". Sometimes you might forget a team or 2 that existed while trying to think of every team.

Basically, which team do you sometimes forget existed, or if you don't forget, which team was always hardest to remember existing?

mine is the bobcats.

I don't forget about them, but I always get the Timberwolves and Grizzlies mixed up after the Garnett trade. The only way I can remember is to think about where Garnett came from.

do you guys ever wonder why do the Pacers have so many white players?

Pacers = Duke University

I disagree about the Clippers, you always hear about how bad they are, so they are relevant in that case. I totally forgot about the Bucks before jennings was drafted. Pacers is one of them because they never make any big Free agency moves.

When I try to think of all 30 nba teams the last one I think of is ALWAYS the pacers... even when I know it's an East team... Clippers is linked to the lakers being in LA so they're not that hard to think of.

If you can't figure out the team, you always forget (for obvious reasons), check out this site, it may help:

The original post seems to indicate teams of the past that no longer exist. But with the Bobcats, that cancels that out.
I'd say the Pacers too. I can't name their starting 5. I do know many players they have, but if or when they play I don't know.
Nobody forgets about the Clippers since they always lose. Indy kinda just fell off the planet after Miller, Jackson, Artest, and Oneal left.

I took this test and the three teams I couldn't name in the end were the Bobcats, Timberwolves and Kings. Almost forgot the Houston Rockets aswell. Probably would have forgotten the Pacers if it hadn't been said about 5000 times.

Come to think of it, I can't think of any Pacer fans either...Hmm. There must only be a few, since they're getting trashed in this thread and they haven't said anything. No one can remember the Pacers exist, lol. I think Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, Danny Granger, Stephen Jackson, Palace brawl and yellow when I think Pacers.

Pacers. I always think of them as a team that dissolved in the '90s, like the Vancouver Grizzlies, but they're still around.

They're not dreadfully bad like the Nets or T-Wolves but not good enough for a playoff run, so nobody really notices them. When they make the playoffs again they'll get noticed.

Grizzlies. And I still forget they no longer play in Vancouver.

How can you say the Kings? They use to be damn good not too long ago, and now they have the ROY.

In the West, I'd probably have to go with the Clippers. Always overshadowed by the Lakers.

Never really stood out of the crowd for me until Tyreke. Being a good team is not enough to make a team noticeable though. Not long ago, the Pacers were a playoff team, I remember they went to the semis (first round?) and faced the Celtics or something with a good O'Neal there (been a while).
