It makes you really think about guys like Duncan, Kobe, and Ray Allen. These guys have been around for a long time, yet they've outlasted guys like Tmac, Francis, VC (production in comparison to a younger VC), etc. Tmac was unreal, i think he has something left, but i don't think he'll ever be the player he use to be, not even close. Elevation is gone right now, and his knees are turning against him.

He would be a great fit for a team like the Lakers, Magic, etc. A really good role player that can score 10-18 off the bench.

tmac is my favorite player still. I lived in ny my whole life and only got to see him play on high lights or when he was on espn and tnt. now its sad watching him play everyday on the knicks and stuggling to finish games.

I think that hes holding back this year bc the knicks arent going anywhere so hes gonna take it easy until next year. then he will put up like 18 PPG 5 reb and 5 ***

TMac

:laugh2:

But yeah, I do. TMac in his prime was fun to watch. Never will forget that game against the Spurs.

No way is he holding back. He's in the last year of his contract, if he's holding back after being injured for so long then he's an idiot. He's gotta show what he can do right now with the Knicks so he can get a good contract, otherwise he could be looking at an AI situation.

One of my favorite highlights of McGrady was this game between the Magic and Pacers.

He just came out to of the locker room with the hot hand. He was 8/9 on treys at one point and the game was being called by the Pacers commentators. They were in awe of what they were witness to. I remember the one guy couldn't stop saying "my goodness!!" after his 4th or 5th one went down.

Maybe there's a clip of it on youtube somewhere.

You never wish a player ill-will. I hope he does comeback to that elite status. But with his injuries and being a step slower (he averaged 8.0 pts a game in NYC--he aint going back to 20+ per game), that expectation or wish is not likely to happen.

He isn't a star anymore...even though T-mac thinks he will return to allstar form next year.

He was one of my favorite players from this era, but I really don't care about him at all anymore. Not winning in the playoffs is just inexcusable.

He use to be my fave players, but I really don't need him to get back to his cocky self. I hope he stays this way forever, since he screwed the Rockets ever since he has been there (no coincidence, they finally win a playoff series when hes not playing).

He could still average 20+/5+ on a mediocre team that will allow him to dominate the ball.
