View Full Version : Build a team with 100 PPG

Sox Appeal

Ok how about this, you have a budget of "100 ppg", you must have 12 players. In other words, if you pick two 20ppg scorers, you have 60ppg left to choose between your 10. Kind of a weird formula, but I think it's better than something like salary, cause of all the bargains in players in their rookie contracts. So lets see what you can do with 100ppg.

Saw this idea on another forum, and it looked cool. Sooo, yeah.

Thabo is a billion times better than Cedric Jackson.

That argument is bull ****. If Lindsey Hunter is able to produce at the level you are expecting, then the Bulls, who signed the atrocious Janero Pargo, would actually play him. I find it kind of funny that people are arguing that their team is way better or would be another team, but theoretically you would have a 100-100 game or close to it everytime so it's hard to argue one team is wayyy better than another.

So far mines still the best. An offensive and defensive powerhouse:

Agreed. Any team in this system needs Howard and Artest. That adds to 30 PPG, and then just insert your favorite players around that, you have 70ppg to work with for 3 players.

Best starting lineup I've seen but the OP said 12 players, a little tweak with the bench would do

Players whose injuries made them unable to play throughout the whole season and players who wasn't able to get any minutes at all shouldn't be eligible

My team is pretty underrated though..:(

PG- Kidd (10.3/5.5/9.1)

PF/C- Pau Gasol (17.8/11.2/1.7)
G/F- Hedo Turkoglu (11.7/4.4/4.1)

Thats like 99.something. Fill the rest in with what every 0PPG player or whatever and thats a champion. Hands down. Hedo and LBJ initiate the offense when Kidd is out. Gasol grabs all the back up big minutes (~20 from Camby, 16 from KG). Hedo takes 7 at SF, 12 at SG and 12 at PG (although really its Lebron there when Kidd comes out).
