NEW YORK -- The Milwaukee Bucks' Brandon Jennings and Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry today were named the Eastern and Western Conference T-Mobile Rookies of the Month, respectively, for games played in March.
Jennings ranked first among Eastern Conference rookies in scoring (14.1
ppg), and second in assists (5.1 apg). On March 19, he had a
career-high/team rookie record eight three-point field goals against the Sacramento Kings in a career-high 45 minutes, breaking the mark set by Ray Allen.
Among Western Conference rookies, Curry ranked second in scoring (19.8 ppg), third in assists (7.3 apg), first in three point field goal percentage (.500), second in free throw percentage (.926) and second in
steals (1.79 spg). He also ranked in the top-three among Western
Conference rookies in six different categories and collected three
double-doubles, all of which were of the 30-point/10-assist variety. Curry is the first rookie to have at least three 30-point/10-assist games in a calendar month since Oscar Robertson in Feb. 1961.

March 19 @ Sacramento: Notched 35 points, five rebounds and eight assists in a 114--108 double-overtime win over the Kings.
March 28 vs. Memphis: Posted 29 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and a career-high four steals in a 108-103 overtime victory against the Grizzlies.

March 5 @ Atlanta: Finished with 31 points, 11 assists, five rebounds and two steals in a 127-122 loss to the Hawks.
March 14 vs. Toronto: Posted 35 points, six rebounds, 10 assists and four steals in a 124-112 win over the Raptors.
March 15 vs. L.A. Lakers: Scored 29 points and dished nine assists to go with five rebounds in a 124-121 loss to the Lakers.
March 24 vs. Memphis: Recorded 30 points to go with 11 assists, five rebounds and four steals in a 128-110 victory over the Grizzlies.
Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference T-Mobile Rookies of the Month were Chicago's Taj Gibson, Dallas' Rodrigue Beaubois, Detroit's Jonas Jerebko, New Jersey's Terrence Williams, New Orleans' Marcus Thornton, New York's Toney Douglas, Philadelphia's Jrue Holiday and Sacramento's Tyreke Evans.
