I'm always checking box scores in the morning when I get home from my midngiht shift to see who won, but there are some players i always look up first.

First: LBJ (just to see if he had a triple double, or how many assists he got).
Second: DuJuan Blair (to see if he put up some sick per48 minute stats, that guy gets a sick amount of rebounds in very limited minutes some night- but I'm also checking to see if he managed to keep his personal fouls and turnovers down).
Third: Dwight Howard (to see if he posted a 20/20 night and see how many point the dude scored without even taking 10 shots).

Last season saw me checking CP3 a lot, and I've been keeping an eye on Evans and Curry, but which guys do you all check out first and why?

cheers

I have the same morning ritual. Gotta have my coffee and my box scores...

Kevin Love- Always a solid line.

Smith/Horford- Josh Smith is one of my favorite players in the game, and Horford is from my area.

And of course I always love to see how CP3 is doing, because he strikes me as having all of Isiah Thomas' good qualities, but none of the bad.

Theres at least three guys on every team that I'ma check up on every morning. Mostly I just salivate over the young bigs that Detroit actually has a chance at getting, and I always have a mild interest in the MSU guys (even Goran Suton!).

2. Kobe - One of my fav players of all-time, waiting for another 50pt effort from him
3. Lebron - The new Mr. Triple Double, I look him up to see some ridiculous numbers
4. Durant - I want to see him take home the scoring title, so I check up on him every night
5. Melo - IMO the best scorer in the league, in terms of ability, so I like to see what he's done

I see how badly the Warriors lost by,
I see how many FieldGoalAttempts Monta Ellis had,
I see how great Steph Curry led his team,
I check for another injury update,
I see how ridiculous the Warriors got out-rebounded by.

Also, I wish to see an update on how the team-selling is going.

Gerald Wallace is usually high on my list, and Josh Smith. I used to check AK47's stat lines all the time for the same reason as Wallace and Smith, but he just doesn't put up those crazy all-across-the-board numbers any more.

And when I'm checking out Josh Smith's line, I usually check out Al Hortford's too. And Oden's when he plays to see if he's reducing his fouls and dominating the boards. I guess I'm just desperate for a good center in this league to bang around with Dwight and Horford. I'm not a Portland fan, but I really like to see a deep and competetive league and hope Oden develops into a dominant and consistent center, but that doesnt seem likely.

I check if the stupid raptors give Belinelli some minute

He would've if he was consistent.

Everyone basically out played him, and now he's in and out of the rotation.

Although, sometimes I do want him to play, he's our best 3 point shooter off the bench, and we need those 3's.

The first things I usually check are Pau Gasol's rebound numbers and Pau's and Kobe Bryant's shot attempts. If I couldn't watch the game, those stats usually give me a decent indication of how the Lakers played.

Kevin Durant, then I immediately go to NBA.com to compare with LeBron. I think KD is headed in that direction, at the very least he turns out to be 95% the player LeBron ends up as.

If I miss a Magic game, I'll check that ASAP, then I always look to see what Bron did. After that, I look up any of the main contenders' box scores. Always curious to see how Kobe, Durant, Melo, Duncan etc. did.

That's basically mine right there too, just ordered differently of course.
