But why in the hell is Golden State playing on ESPN?

I can, obviously, understand Utah playing, but damn.

Seems they give every team at least one nationally televised game per year. They'll matchup the lessar teams with a big team.
They did it with Charlotte a few years ago, though I think it was TNT. They played the Magic in their first ever nationally televised game (and won).

Actually Warriors got 11 games on national television this year. And if there weren't 350 games missed by injured players, they wouldn't have 21 wins. They would be around .500 And then there is the fact that the Warriors are one of the most entertaining teams in the league. That answer the question dumb dumb?

A cliche comes to mind. Shoulda Coulda Woulda. Sounds like a wee bit of homerism if you ask me.

Really.

This would normally be an extremely exciting game. ESPN isn't stupid, they know Steph Curry / Golden State games sell. This one happens to be a sleeper being that their already depleted roster is especially depleted tonight. They have 7 players playing tonight. 5 of them guards. It isn't even fair.

Maybe it is, but you make it sound like the Warriors shouldn't be anywhere near national television. Still some hatred towards the Warriors for 07 playoffs? :eyebrow:

How do so many players on the same team get injured so severely at the same time?

Not when 9 or 10 guys have been out the majority of the season. Warriors have dressed 7-8 guys several times this season.

One game Biedrins had to suit up even though he was injured just to prevent the W's from forfeiting a game because they didn't have enough players.

The Rpas didn't get one....we haven't had one since like 3 years ago when we faced Detroit and lost...

No, it sounds like you are hating on it. Warriors are really entertaining to watch. They have a big fan base, so I am sure that is part of the reason why they are nationally televised.

Why are you so upset? If you care so much just get a job and pay to see other NBA games on TV. Still hurting from the biggest upset in NBA history? Watch that entire series again and you'll see the excitement.

By excitement, do you mean no defense?

You guys do know that the national tv schedule is determined before the season starts right?
