View Full Version : Players that turned it around this year?

Who finally got it together attitude-wise or style of play-wise ?

I have to say I've been surprised by Stephen Jackson (he's still inefficient, but what he's done for the Bobcats is amazing... what a turnaround). Also, I never liked Zach Randolph but he has been amazing this year IMO.

Players who suck now and might be completely done: Rasheed Wallace, Hedo Turkoglu...

Others?

Homer answer....JJReddick much improved from last year. VC started out rough but has come on strong.

Reverse side.... The Turkalou hype turned out to be Turkalou wipe.

Josh Smith...

He has always been a good player but this year he improved his shot selection(way less threes), his free throw shooting, and passing(he is becoming more of a tripe double threat... potentially quadruple doubles with his freakish shot blocking).

Thats why it drove me nuts when he didnt make the all start team... especially since Horford did and im a fan of horford. Smith improved every weakness of his game and has shown a lot of maturity, and is still only 24.

I believe Smith is one of the best passing big men in the league today. He is soooo good this season. It's scary.

I don't think Stephen Jackson totally has it together... He was just reeking havoc in an already dysfunctional locker room in Golden State.

Def Zach Randolph tho.

Stephen Jackson is the same guy, Z-Bo has become more disciplined. But you cant say enough about Josh Smith, believe it or not I had a dream last night that we were playing a pickup game, I was JJ in this dream and he kept finding me for easy buckets. Seriously where the hell did this come from.

I had a dream last night that I was talking to Rajon Rondo about Allan Houston. Huh? Where'd that come from?

Beno Udrih is a good one. He's been awesome this year. Especially lately. He had a 6 game stretch where he averaged 18 points. 12 assists, and 6 boards a game.

Definitely a lot of players who used to be headcases/uncoachable, but turned it around.

Crawford, StephJax, Smoove, Z-Bo.

Stephen Jackson is probably still discussing his plight on the phone with the ref who T'd him up in the Toronto game.

To everyone saying gallo...he only played 14 games last year tho...with an injured back..so he didn't really "turn it around"

Zbo...Bogut two I can think of at the top of my head
