Just wondering guys... How did Kevin Ollie last this long in the NBA? Is he a good leader coz it is definitely not his skills coz there are better players than him...

I've never been a big fan, but from what I had seen of him he seemed like he always stayed really calm diirecting people on the court and understanding his own abilities and limitations. Plus, didn't he play w/ A.I. under Brown for a few years? Kinda as a defender and extra point guard to keep the rock moving.

Pretty good defender and passer. He was a backup to A.I for a long time so thats what kept him around. Hes bounced around from bad team to bad team anyway.

Kevin Ollie is a true professional. He is a solid point guard, doesn't make many mistakes, and it a veteran. He is a good asset to have in the locker room.

True... The only time I remember him really doing something was when he was with AI in Philly... I guess veteran leadership is what he is giving to his recent teams...

Exactly. Every team needs those veteran type leaders just to be there with the young players. When the Hornets played here, we had P.J. Brown. Last year, we had Joe Smith. This year, it's been Kevin Ollie and Etan Thomas. Those guys haven't played alot, but I guess the young guys enjoy having them around.
