View Full Version : Best Player A Team Could Lose and Not Get Worst

I think right now I'd have to go Monta Ellis. As much as I love his game (yes I know I am in the minority) I think the Warriors may become an even better team without Monta.

Bynum comes to mind but their at big man would be severely hampered. Other than that I believe RIGHT NOW if the Lakers were to lose Bynum and insert Lamar in the starting line up they won't be that much worse. They may likely get better. At least on offence that is. Bynum's size is currently a huge asset for him.

Who do you guys got?

I think we should implement a rule to exclude any player from the Nets. Not trying to be funny but its the truth.

boozer maybe. millsap could take the minutes and do a great job. utah would have no depth but it could work. boozer is still a heck of a player however

They have been a MUCH worse team since Paul has been injured. Collison plays at an all star level but they are still much better with Paul who is ALL WORLD!

The Sixers play much better without Elton Brand... Does he even qualify for this kind of question anymore though?

his contract sure does! but seriously that's so true i mean early in the season it really seemed even more evident that Brand was stunting the growth of Speights but like his injuries and in and out of the line up has caught up to him.

I think if the raps lose Hedo, we would still be good considering his production has not been great this season.

Easily Monta Ellis, he's overrated IMO.

Agree.

he's a 1-on-1 player and not a team player.
Streetballer much?

Streetballer much?

Plus with Ellis' speed and quickness, I'd be shocked if he couldn't score in the Warrior's run-and-gun style of play.

Rudy Gay.

Im serious Mayo, Randolph and Mac can split his points and brewer would care to deffend and look for the open man isntead of hogging the ball.

Sadly, I agree.

I think we're better with him obviously, but lately he's been struggling, and we arent even playing him a lot in crunch time... and in the last 2 games while he's been suspended, I dont really see much of a difference in terms of how the Wolves play.

LeBron James. I don't even know why he gets minutes.

It should be:

PG: Mo Williams
SG: Gibson
SF: SHAQTUS
PF: Antawn Jamison
C: Anderson Varejao

Shaq at SF works because he has quickness and the ability to get to the free throw line and make his shots, which makes him the total package.

Amare... He might be good on the O side of the ball but Nash would make anybody look good in that situation.

Lakers- Kobe

Between Shannon Brown and Lamar Odom and a more even distribution of the ball, the Lakers would be a great team.

The Wizards minus Agent 0, Butler, Jamison, Haywood (pick one that you think is the best) is better than the Wizards with them. At worst, they're just as good record wise.

Who is to say the rockets would not have been better and may be contenders if Yao was consistently on the court and healthy.
