Cavaliers fans already have a great reason to attend games: the chance to see LeBron James play. But just in case they needed extra motivation, tonight's game against the Pistons offers an intriguing wrinkle.

Before the game's tip-off, every spectator in the arena will don a Snuggie, the wearable blanket so often seen in infomercials. The goal? A world record.

A Snuggie representative writes that a Guinness World Record adjudicator will be on hand to certify that "the record for 'largest gathering of people wearing fleece blankets' has been set." As an added bonus, the game is nationally televised, so Snuggie fans everywhere can enjoy history in the making.

It would look like a massive cult gathering. Who's bringing the Kool-aide?

I was there and that thought crossed my mind like..."what if Dan Snyder lowers himself from the rafters and offers us punch?' haha...in all seriousness it was an interesting sight to see I guess, funny that the players got involved too.

lol imo the reversible jerseys were a better idea. who in the world would want a snuggie, regardless of whether it had their team logo on it or not. it's a ****ing snuggie.

No other team would give away free things like the cavs do all the time. Cavs games are just so much fun to attend. As a season ticket holder its just a blast to experience.

A lot of low life's in here trying to take cheap shots at the team. Which is just really sad. But whatever.

How dare the cavs have alittle fun. lol. Your suppose to be boring like all the other arenas.

I honestly thought this was an attempt to get the entire Cavs team into one giant Snuggie... that would have been awesome with Shaq in it!

Well if you can't have fun by simply watching your team play or simply playing the game then something is seriously wrong..
