And Boston hadn't won in Cleveland for ages until they did in the season opener... Really doesn't mean anything.

Pierce is almost definitely not playing tomorrow night. Daniels could be out as well.

Paul Pierce is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers due to his thumb injury and a case of the flu, although there are also reports that Doc Rivers has already ruled him out.
Marquis Daniels is also iffy with the flu, meaning Tony Allen would likely start if the other two are unable to play. Regardless of what the official word is on Pierce, it would now be shocking if he plays tomorrow.

Cleveland and Boston could put on a good game. There's also a good chance it could suck though.

YESSIR!

Paul Pierce always lights us up when he plays us and usually does a pretty decent defensive job of LeBron, but I think it'll still be a close game.

Any idea why the Cavs are a 2.5 point favorite over the Celtics in Boston? They were the favorite in Orlando last year as well in games 3 and 4. Not sure how that can be possible.

Rajon Rondo is off to an insane start. 10 points, 5 assists, in 7 minutes.

I really hate Tony Allen. he really brings nothing to the table except the occasional defense play.

Why is Mo Williams not taking many shots anymore?

Why is Mo Williams not taking many shots anymore?

Maybe because he's been terrible ever since he returned. Shooting like 28%.

LeBron tied to get others involved early on, but no one showed up. He took over and did some damage control in the 2nd. Mo and Co. are gonna have to start hitting the shots they take...or this will be a one man effort. Besides LeBron, the starts are 6-18...and besides Andy, the bench has done nothing.

Boston is look great though. Rondo is showing that he might be the most important/best player on that team.

Why is Mo Williams not taking many shots anymore?

Because he has been sucking donkey balls offensively since he came back from injury...

He needs one big game where he shoots the ball really well and he'll get back in rhythm.

How did lebron not get a technical for that

ManRam

Mo is heating up. If he's hitting his shots, I still, sadly, think they have to be the favorites.

Mo is 3-3 from deep in the space of about 2 minutes... Exactly what we need.

The Cavs have really come to play in the 4th... The whole team has stepped up and we're playing fantastically on both ends.

Lebron has no teamates huh

He didn't have any help besides Andy for the first three quarters. Mo got very hot, but he's been atrocious since he's been back in general.

Who would have thought LBJ would be sitting on the bench cheering at the start of the 4th. Wow.

What a great win for the Cavs!

The Celts torched us in the first half, but our lockdown defense limited them to 32 second half points.

Great to see Mo break out of his slump and Leon Powe gets his first minutes as a Cav.

TheKing23
02-25-2010, 11:52 PM
And as for the people that moan about LeBron not shaking hands with his opponents, not one Celtic player shook hands with any Cav player... They all just headed for the locker room.

Curry is a scoring machine.......

Excellent PG battle today, Chauncey and Curry lighting it up in the 1st.

The supporting cast for Lebron played extremely well, Varejao was plain beast, Mo came out clutch, Jamison hit some big shots, West provided a nice spark and Hickson provided the inside presence on defense and was in the right place at the right time on offense.

Btw what was up with Lebron? So many missed jumpers/3s and he even missed a few layups/and one plays... Regardless, great win for the Cavs and I wonder how serious Shaq's injury is.
