lol its not gonna be all superstar studded. TEAM USA needs someone like a Lamar Odom on the team. ANd they need someone like Durant. You need the right mix of superstar players, all-star players, and some really good role players. Lamar is that really good role player.

I think Odom would add great versatility to the team, I'd say let him play some PG to shake things up as well, (maybe with Kidd or Billups on the floor because they can play off-ball [idk if they're on the team]).

his game would fit well with usa. he offers them a 4 that isnt huge and slow which is what they need. they played melo and lebron at the 4 last time. the guy is a beast as a rebounder it helps them there and he can push it after the rebound and he is unselfish.

Yuppp exactly...just one thing I think Lamar is more than just a really good role player..just a bit higher in my opin.

Lamar Odom would be a great fit on the USA team. He adds great versatility to the team. Many people think that this team is just about having superstars, but it's nothing close to that really.

The team needs balance. It has to have a mixture of scoring, rebounding, play makers, defense, 3pt shooting etc.

For example: Tayshaun Prince(defense) and Michael Redd(3pt shooting) both made the 2008 roster over Joe Johnson because they already had plenty of scorers.

The idea is to get the players that fit into each role perfectly. Lamar Odom would be a great addition for the USA team.

My friend swears he was the only guy playing with heart when they brought back bronze

That's true, but he has lots and lots in just one box.

Actually, he's right, it was Odom and maybe Tim Duncan who played with heart, but it seemed like Duncan lost his spark towards the end when it was determined that the US wasn't gonna win gold. Everyone else was just too young on that team or too selfish and had big egos.
