He hasn't been stellar IMO this season as he was last season. But if you had to put him somewhere, then you'd prolly have to take out B. Roy and put Wade in. No way Derrick Rose does not make it, he's been ballin it in his 2nd season

guys guys, I admit, I forgot Wade and Bosh. I just made the teams based on who's playing well, but also which names just popped in my head.

They've have been a lot of great individual performers this season it seems than past seasons. It's gonna be damn hard to come up with All NBA First, Second and Third teams.

I'm a bulls fan, and I obviously love Rose, but I don't think he's good enough to be an all 3rd NBA player yet. Then again, I guess it depends on credentials, since Rose is clearly the main reason Bulls are above .500.

Anyways, here's my list.

Deron
Wade
Melo
Dirk
Duncan

He's not near leading the league in double doubles, Dwight is #1 with 45, Bosh is #2 with 39 and ZBo is only behind by one.

25-11 doesn't mean much to me when the player's team is ranked 30th of 30 teams in defensive efficiency.

Again, for those beating up on me for not putting Wade or Bosh......I simply forgot. Hell, I'll claim it right now that you can move one of the 2nd team forwards I listed down to the 3rd team (and take Pau Gasol off) and put Bosh in the 2nd team.

So this is my "revised" selections

1st team

G Steve Nash (PHX)
G Kobe Bryant (LAL)
F Kevin Durant (OKC)
F LeBron James (CLE)
C Dwight Howard (ORL)

2nd team

G Chauncey Billups (DEN)
G Dwyane Wade (MIA)
F Carmelo Anthony (DEN)
F Chris Bosh (TOR)
C Amare Stoudemire (PHX)

3rd team

G Derrick Rose (CHI)
G Deron Williams (UTA)
F Paul Pierce (BOS)
F Dirk Nowitzki (DAL)
C Tim Duncan (SAS)

And for someone who asked, it does not go by PG, SG, SF, PF, C. It goes by any 2 guards (regardless point or shooting), any 2 forwards (regardless small or power) and a center.

And yes, it hurts me to take Pau off, but I think you have to leave at least one Celtic on there (dammit), Joe Johnson has been good, but no where near those other guards, and it's so competitive at that forward spot, that Bosh is having a better overall scoring and rebounding season than Dirk, so I had to move Dirk down to the 3rd team.

And Durant deserves to be 1st Team. Melo was good for the first month to month and a half, but then, he digressed a little for a few weeks, then he had that injury where he was out for a few wks, and coming back from the injury, he's still playing pretty damn well but not at the level he was playing at the beginning of the season. And I had to take off B. Roy because although he is having a good season again, and leading the Blazers without all their injured players, he too has missed significant amount of time.

G Dwyane Wade (MIA) [2nd in PER only to Lebron. Wade is better than Nash, c'mon]
G Kobe Bryant (LAL)
F Kevin Durant (OKC) [The clear #2 in MVP voting has to be on 1st]
F LeBron James (CLE)
C Dwight Howard (ORL)

2nd team

No shortage of good guards, either. If Roy hadn't already missed 15+ games I'd probably have him on there, too. By the end of the year those can be forgotten. And just imagine if Chris Paul wasn't hurt?

The league has an insane amount of talent right now. Minus the Center position (which will change if Yao and Oden can actually come back and stay healthy), this is probably the deepest the league has ever been talent wise.
