the kid registered a triple double yesterday with 18pts, 13rbs, and 12asts. he was also 2TO shy of a quadruple double lol. but seriously, aside from the TO problems, this kid has REALLY shown he can run a team. what do you do when CP3 gets back? what do u do next season? do u guys think this kid is just fluking? i just wanna see what everyone else thinks because this guy seems like he can really be a star.

he is good, but inconsistent, at least from what ive seen, he will be a good backup to paul when he returns

he would need a few seasons under his belt and lower those TO's and then maybe he could be a all star

i hope this gives the hornets a reason to trade chris paul to a better team like Orlando! imagine CP3 and D12 doin the dam thang!

Hope he gets better with to's then trade him for a high draft pick

Think he's gonna be a great PG once he gets the experience he needs. All those TOs are just the struggles of a rookie playing big minutes. He played 44 minutes and is running the team with no real backup (he is the backup). In a few years watch out 4 em.

He's very underrated and he needed the large amount of minutes to prove he's as good as the top 3 rookies in the league.. he's a beast.

Until he solves his turnover problem the means dont justify the ends. Hes a solid rook but hes no Ty Lawson

He is not inconsistent at all, he is pretty good, a great future.

The worst thing for a young kid is to have him play fantastic at the beginning of when he starts because its impossible for him to live up to the self made hype (ie brandon jennings). but boy he is good, hopefully the hornets dont get stupid and think he is a cp3 jr because that just isnt right. Keep them both and let cp3 teach collision

we have to wait until he faces adversity. most likely the rookie wall. how he answers is the key, if he suceeds expect to see a cp3 for bynum deal in the rumor section

it's a great thing to start a career like this, he might have a bright future...

the main problem is not about him , it's about CP3... how Orleans are going to use them both? 48 of great playmaking is incredible for a team, but to share 48 minutes between 2 players who could start? not good at all, of course some minutes at 2, but still... < this of course if kid doesn't stop going, learning...

Collison is proof positive that CP is overrated.

Haha your so ignorant, what DC does doesn't prove anything about Paul. Keep your biased opinions out of here.

the kid was legit at UCLA. He was almost to fast for his own teammates in college. It seems like the NBA fits his style more. And he is NOT inconsistent as previously stated by another poster. He has 5-6 good games in a row. As for turnovers he's had 2 bad games of 10 and 8 TO's but other than that he's the normal 4-5 per like the rest of the guards that handle the rock alot.

I was the one who previously stated that he isnt consistent. :D
But seriously, yea he has games where he turns it over, but he is a rookie that handles the ball a lot.

Uhh no I mean consistent. You dont know you making an assumption that is wrong. I mean if he plays like 10 Minutes a game he wont have 15+PPG and ( APG but if he plays consistently at 30+ minute without Paul I expect 15 and 9
